March 23, 201016 yr March 23, 2010 - submitted by Makayla, United States of America Q. Dear lovely Oracle, Myself along with many other Coldplayers at coldplaying.com have been wondering whether or not the butterflies will stick around for the next tour. I don't think Lovers in Japan will ever be the same without butterflies! The Oracle replies: I would doubt it to be honest. I know the Yellow balloons made it to another tour but as Yellow is the first single it feels different to have them continue; it became quite iconic to have those big balloons bouncing around while everyone tried to hit one, pop one or collect one! I'm sure the guys will want to try new things for the next tour. back :( well maybe something better??
March 23, 201016 yr  I'll never know how is to sing LiJ in the butterfly-rain... well, we hope something better will come.
March 23, 201016 yr I'm so sad! :( It makes me more thankful for being able to see them this tour and get some butterflies though.

March 23, 201016 yr awwww man! I'm gonna miss those butterflies maybe they'll get a rain machine to make it rain during Don Quixote/Spanish Rain or something  This would be absolutely epic, and a very good reason to make my mum let me go to any future concerts I want to go to (i.e. all of them :laugh3:) But just makes me more glad I managed to experience the butterfly rain and get some of them as mementos of the most INCREDIBLE (literally :D) night of my life... Going to make a collage with some of them, I think... either that or make some more of my own as just general ones and keep the real ones under lock and key !!! But I'd totally sign a petition for 'Bring Back The Butterflies'!!! :P
March 23, 201016 yr So I'm never gonna experience the butterflies fluttering around me and their glow-in-the-darkness while my ears are filled with LIJ? . . . :bigcry:
March 23, 201016 yr well if Betty White's fans on Facebook can get her to host Saturday Night Live, we can get the butterflies back!
March 23, 201016 yr ^ Yeah! we could make picket signs and protest!.......or just email them strongly worded messages
March 23, 201016 yr  I'll never know how is to sing LiJ in the butterfly-rain... well, we hope something better will come. This :(
March 23, 201016 yr Damn. On one hand, I have plenty of butterflies to serve as memories. On the other hand, I didn't really get them rained down on me, considering how the wind blew the butterflies toward the stage while they were still in the air. Then again, remember that this is just the Oracle's theory. The band could always change their minds. It also lies on whether or not the band decides to play Lovers in Japan next tour at all.
March 23, 201016 yr But surely if they get rid of the butterflies they'll replace them with something else in the shows. a different confetti? different effects? etc.
March 23, 201016 yr awh! :( the butterflies became sort of a symbol for coldplay. a lot of people link them to coldplay. it was so amazing to see the butterflies float around the sky and standing in it. im really gonna miss it:cry:
