Well from the trailers of episode 4, it looks like some of the walkers will break into the compound. Carol was outside screaming "nooooo!" at something she was watching, so I'm guessing it's not her.

Or maybe it's not anyone new? Maybe Rick's just reflecting on the loss of Shane, thinking back when things were good between them?

I suppose we'll find out in a few days.

One of the best emotional ending IMO. Also as good as Vatos and Better Angels endings.

What an episode. My homey T-Dog and then Lori. Rick's reaction is what truly killed me though. I didn't love Lori, didn't hate her either, but the loss of her will drive him fucking bananas. I keep rewatching the last scene when he breaks down. Heartbreaking. Bravo, Andrew Lincoln. That was some fine acting.

Carol isnt dead. They would have shown her dying if she did. She's probably hiding somewhere like stated above.
