THE sheik of tweet Shane Warne is using his network of celebrity friends to become Australia's King of Chat.

 

 

The former cricketer has secured interviews with international stars Sting, Pink, Coldplay's Chris Martin and Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe for his new Channel Nine variety show, currently titled Warne's World.

 

A production source said former Nine boss James Packer has also agreed to appear - the media mogul's first sit-down TV interview in 20 years.

 

Rolling Stone frontman Mick Jagger and retired talkshow king Sir Michael Parkinson are also expected to join Warne in conversation when the five-episode series launches on November 25 at 9.30pm, along with cricket commentator Richie Benaud and comedians Glenn Robbins and Magda Szubanski.

 

Warne spent last week on a whirlwind five-day European trip to pre-record several interviews for the one-hour show.
