Aaaand completely ignored! This is one of the many examples as to why everyone thinks Mark's a dick.

Don't forget to report this post Mark.

Wahoo, overshadowed by a death and something which actually has an effect on everyone around the world. Let's all move on.

Do I detect a smattering of antipathy towards Mr. Morgan?

I would like his next show to be Piers meets the Firing Squad, what a way to boost ratings, I don't think anyone likes the guy.

Daniel Radcliff was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last week, he said that the royal wedding craze is far bigger in America than it is over in England.

Unpatriotic Ricky Gervais launches extraordinary foul-mouthed rant at Royal Wedding campers

article-0-0BC5983600000578-975_233x400.jpg Unpatriotic: Ricky Gervais launches foul-mouthed attack at Royal Wedding campers

He's no stranger to causing controversy with his comedy.

But this weekend Ricky Gervais stunned fans as he launched an extraordinary foul-mouthed rant on his blog targeting the thousands of people who camped out for the Royal Wedding.

In the blog post, the unpatriotic comedian referred to the time Prince Harry provoked a storm by dressing up in a Nazi uniform for a party, as well as blasting those who had chosen to camp out ahead of last Friday's nuptials.

He wrote: 'I sent Prince Harry a text today offering to gag up his best man speech. (True.) He said he was fine.

'Hmmm? If I hear he's done any holocaust or famine s**t I will sue obviously. I also reminded him it wasn't fancy dress.'

Gervais added: 'On a serious note; I really like Harry. I like William too and really wish the happy couple all the best, as I would anyone on their wedding day. But... really. Enough already.

'Who are these f*****g mongs from all over the world camping out for f*****g days to get a 30 second glimpse of two people from 30 yards away? Christ.

'Still, mustn't grumble. I suppose everyone gets a day off.'

Meanwhile, Gervais wasn't the only celebrity to mock the big day, as Kathy Griffin joked about the length of the kiss.

In a special show entitled Kathy Griffin’s Take on the Royal Wedding, Griffin joked: 'I made out with my dog longer than this, I did.

'Really? Honest? Seriously? It was equated to the kind of kiss you give someone when you’re breaking up with them.'

article-0-0BCD454600000578-181_468x352.jpg Unapologetic: Gervais then acknowledged that at least we got a day off for Prince William and Kate Middleton's big day

Gervais has become famous for his controversial comments and hit the headlines when he hosted the Golden Globes earlier this year.

During the three-hour ceremony the 49-year-old insulted just about everyone in the film industry.

Taking a pop at Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp for their film The Tourist, he said: ‘Seems like everything this year was three-dimensional. Except the characters in The Tourist.‘

'I tell you what, I’m jumping on the bandwagon, because I haven’t even seen The Tourist. Who has?’

To gasps from the Beverly Hills audience, he referred to one film featuring ‘two heterosexual actors pretending to be gay, so the complete opposite of some famous Scientologists then’.

Gervais added: 'My lawyers helped me with the wording of that joke.'

Don't forget to report this post Mark.

He's ignoring us! :bigcry:

He's ignoring us! :bigcry:

How well observed.

Ha, trust the Daily mail to print a nothing story about Gervais.

People who camp outside to get a glimpse of people they don't know ARE stupid.

How does that make him unpatriotic?

Mark, if you aren't going to say anything of worth, post links to something of worth at the very least.

It's time to get the pot and kettle out again......................

Whether you agree with my opinions or not I am able to at least put them forward in a way that isn't simply a pun or a smiley. You on the other hand, don't seem capable of that.

You mean like those extremely tedious diatribes about religion?

Somebody's clearly not been paying attention (not that I give a monkey's).:dozey:

Well unless you are making all these posts in the Coldplay section, you're keeping them well under the radar.

Anyway, may I ask you your opinion on the last article you posted in this thread, since you deemed it worthy to share with us. There must have been something that inspired you to do that, or do you just try and keep your threads going when they die down?

The Disappearing Duchess: I’m going to be a housewife for now, says Kate

The new Duchess of Cambridge will not become a full-time working royal for up to two years – because she wants to concentrate on being a housewife.

Despite a surge of public interest in the Royal Family following Friday’s wedding, Kate is refusing to conduct any public engagements without her husband for the foreseeable future.

There are only two or three joint events pencilled in over the next couple of months and aides admit the new bride intends to spend most of her time with her husband on Anglesey.

article-0-0BD47DA500000578-684_468x347.jpg Just wed: Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, wants to savour being an ordinary RAF wife to her new husband Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge

Well-placed sources have told the Mail that Kate wants to model herself on the Duchess of Cornwall, who insisted on only a ‘supporting role’ following her 2005 marriage to Prince Charles.

The new duchess has told friends she wants to enjoy life for as long as she can as an ‘ordinary RAF wife’ in the rented farmhouse the couple share in North Wales.

Her approach has the support of her husband who is keen not to throw Kate into the ‘bear-pit’ of public life and has cautioned aides to keep her commitments to a minimum.

The only definite dates in her diary following her return from honeymoon are watching Prince William play in a couple of polo matches and key-note events next month including Trooping The Colour and the Duke of Edinburgh’s 90th birthday.

There are no plans for her to attend Royal Ascot with the Queen or join the rest of the royals at this summer’s palace garden parties.

article-0-0BD858DC00000578-464_468x408.jpg Commitments: Aides insist Kate 'will not be idle' and say that when William is on duty she will be 'pursuing other interests'

Aides insist she ‘will not be idle’ and say that when William, who works as a search and rescue pilot at RAF Valley on Anglesey, is on duty she will be ‘pursuing other interests’. They also stressed that she has a two-week inaugural tour of Canada coming up at the beginning of July.

But her approach is likely to disappoint those who were hoping to use the couple’s post-wedding popularity to boost the Royal Family’s profile. It also provides ammunition for critics who have already accused her of being ‘work-shy’.

Other than working for her family’s party supplies business, Kate has had only one part-time job since she graduated from university in 2005, as an accessories buyer for the High Street firm Jigsaw.

Last year the Queen conducted 444 engagements while Prince Charles carried out 585 and Camilla 243. Prince William undertook 73.

article-1382889-0BD5996300000578-808_468x321.jpg Approval: Kate is said to have the support of the Queen who, as a newly-wed, lived in Malta for two years when Prince Philip was based there with the Navy

The source said: ‘The couple will do things as a pair after their marriage and for the foreseeable future. Catherine will not be conducting any solo engagements. The number of engagements she does with William will remain pretty level.

‘Prince William has a full-time job he has to work round and that is his priority. He is committed to it for at least another two years so nothing much will change in the immediate future, apart from the fact that he and Catherine will take part in the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations next year.

‘He is already committed to a number of charitable patronages and Catherine will, initially at least, support him in that as his wife.

‘She will, in time, become associated with her own charities but this won’t happen immediately as she wants to explore the fields that interest her first.’

Kate is said to have the support of the Queen who, as a newly-wed, lived in Malta for two years when Prince Philip was based there with the Navy. The monarch considers it one of her happiest periods.

‘Catherine wants to enjoy her time with William as an RAF wife,’ said a friend. ‘It’s so rare that someone in her position gets the chance to live as a normal wife and she intends to make the most of it.’

With the amount of news stories you've posted you've made it your own Markey.

And congratulations in responding properly to my last post.

Oh wait no, you just posted a new story without any of your own input.

Thank fuck you don't live in China Mark. And as tasteless as this sounds, I bet you'd have fitted in well in a right wing dictatorship, following whatever you were being told.

With the amount of news stories you've posted you've made it your own Markey.

Nah. You just can't admit you got it wrong (again).

But Mark, I've admitted I'm wrong several times. You have never done so.

Not even when you're on someones doorstep ;)

But Mark, I've admitted I'm wrong several times.

Then I'm sure you'll have no problem doing so once again.

Anyway, please refer to my earlier response relating to primates.:smug:

In this case it was not your thread, but it doesn't devalue my point as it was a general statement about your presence on the board. I honestly don't see any true benefit you have, especially considering your post count.

But like you said, you don't care, so there's no need to reply to this unless you want it to keep going. it's up to you. If I were you (a ****) I'd just quote a tiny piece of this post and reply to that and add a smiley, rather than confronting everything I've said over this and the last page with any form of proper intelligence.

Oh, and report the post Markey.

I'm kind of ashamed to admit that, although I was completely indifferent to the royal wedding before, I got sort of interested in it when I woke up on Friday. I think it was her dress that got me...so gorgeous. I want that dress (minus the train) when I get married!!

How well observed.

Judging based on my question, I don't see why I should be ignored when you can answer other people's questions.

Anyhow, I did see some of the wedding, they look like a happy couple who should have a couple dozen children in a few years! :) (all that privacy should help a bit.. )

seems like I did meet them somewhere, perhaps escaping from the royal super-duper secret guards... ;)
