I did indeed read the article about one racist idiot who took an unreasonable dislike to the bride because she didn't properly acknowledge him and he found this horrifying to his drunken mindset, does that actually count as a general hatred to you?

just an outsiders point of view that means nothing, for some of us Americans its the fantasy princess wedding that ironically has historically, has not proven well for the women

 

but everyone loves a love story and i am always the optimist and its a great break from reality and the dulldrums of everyday life.

 

its always fun to dream, but god knows the royal couple's life is filled with stress that i could not imagine, so the grass is always greener, but its lovely to have a few hours to think about a grand royal wedding, we don;t have that here, so let us have a little indulgence for a few hours

Seriously, there has been so much coverage on the wedding in the U.S. ever since the engagement announcement. For MONTHS, I think people across the pond would not believe how often it is the top story on the news over here, even months ago.

Well so do I, maybe 'hate' is a strong term, I don't hate them personally I just think that having this engineered respect for a family totally barbaric, it's not the middle ages anymore. Your work colleagues would be doing the exact same thing if they were born into the family, that's unreasonable.

 

I don't have anything against Kate or Will, I simply don't care, at the most I feel a bit sorry for him because he's been on/off with this girl, now that he's marrying her divorce is simply not an option. Terrifying experience.

However, I don't see it happening with Wills and Kate, as they're the same age, compatible, and as far as we know, Wills hasn't been in love with anyone else.

Plus the marriage wasn't "engineered" as with Charles and Di.
