I could care less about the Royal Wedding, but I often worry about whether or not Price William will be able to get the image of his step-mother Camila out of his head while trying to bed his new bride under a canopy of precious jewels and unicorn manes. Though there's nothing we can do about that fact that Queen Elizabeth will be in the same room, Corgis at her side, issuing declarative instructions to her grandson with her scepter, Prince Wiliam and Kate Middleton can get a little assist from a new limited edition beer brewed in honor of their ceremonious freak.

The BrewDog company has made 1,000 bottles of their limited edition Royal Virility Performance beer, available for pre-order from their website. No ordinary Indian pale ale, the Royal Virility Performance beer was brewed with a variety of aphrodisiacs (that's sex potions to you).

The artisinal brew contains herbal viagra, chocolate, and the mysterious yet somehow compelling horny goat weed. Also, the greatest aphrodisiac known to man, alcohol. It's sure to create a good night even for those poors who weren't invited to the wedding. Each bottle will run you ten pounds, which in the world economy is like a thousand American dollars.

Will it rain on William and Kate's big day? Forecasters predict heavy showers in London for Royal Wedding

By Daily Mail Reporter

Last updated at 7:50 PM on 25th April 2011

  • Wedding day will be 'warmer than average', say forecasters
  • Supermarket sales soar after rush for barbecue foods

The Royal Wedding could be hit by heavy showers, forecasters have said as cloudier and cooler weather spread across the country today after a scorching Easter Sunday.

After an Easter weekend of sunny weather, downpours could hit both central London and Kate Middleton's hometown of Bucklebury, Berkshire on Friday.

Today London Regent's Street was awash with Union Jacks ready for Friday's celebration. With everything in place Prince William and his bride-to-be will be hoping they avoid a downpour.

However, forecasters are predicting that Friday will be warm - even if it is wet.

Helen Rossington, a senior forecaster at MeteoGroup, said: 'At the moment, it is looking like temperatures will probably be a little bit above average (on the day) and there is a risk of heavy showers.

'Temperatures will probably be somewhere in the high teens but it is difficult to pin down so far ahead.

'The weather is always changing, there is that risk that we are seeing on the current outlook that we have at the moment, but nearer the time the models might change a little bit.'

Tom Morgan, a spokesman for the Met Office, warned that the Royal Wedding day would feel much cooler in England and Wales than this bank holiday weekend.

'Generally in the London area there will be fairly cloudy skies with occasional brighter spells, but also a risk of showery rain at times,' he said.

'A brisk north-easterly wind will make it feel much chillier than of late.'

If bookmakers have an inside track on Friday's weather, all indications are that the couple will be able to take their first journey as man and wife in an open carriage.

The latest odds suggest that London will stay dry - at least for the duration of the ceremony.

Bookmaker William Hills is offering 1/5 odds that it will not be raining when the Royal party arrives at the Abbey.

They are also offering 1/10 odds that the newlyweds will be able to return to Buckingham Palace after the service in an open carriage.

If it does rain, the couple will leave Westminster Abbey in the Glass Coach, rather than the open-top 1902 State Landau.

'The latest forecast suggests that the rain should stay away on the big day, at least until after the service,' said Hill's Royal spokesman Rupert Adams

And the rest of the country should enjoy much better weather as hundreds of street parties take place.

that's pretty

Wow, it is! *must make a photo of the flags on Thursday*

you can have the whole family and all their assets! take them now!

No thanks, the cost of the royal family is dwarfed by the tourism money.

Is Regent's Street at sea?

I think not, the flag isn't the Union Jack unless flown at sea, it's the Union flag on land :toff:

Excellent news! There's hope for the monarchy yet!:P

The wedding airs at 2 am here, so I definitely will not be watching! I'm not really interested anyway. I don't believe the monarchy is important in this day in age.

2am? That would mean they'd be getting married at 7am here!! I don't believe the monarchy holds much importance for commonwealth countries like your own but for the UK it still holds a key process in democracy. As I've said before on this site a crisis in democracy here in the UK could be averted by the decisions made by the head of state ie the King or Queen. On paper I don't like the idea of hereditary monarchy but hey ho that's the way it is.

Coldplay should play at the Royal Wedding :P

What time is the wedding supposed to start anyway? (GMT)

Not actually sure. I think it might be around 11pm, midday or something like that.

Coldplay should play at the Royal Wedding :P

And here was I thinking there isn't any way it could be made worse until that post.

perhaps Coldplay help the couple in this Royal Wedding :P

Perhaps Kate was much awaited her Prince Charming, If William and Chris are friends and made party time in the bars

well not give to watching, :\ and the true joy of life when people look at a royal wedding. because they are not part of their worlds. then the kingdom does not give hope for the better world.

But if they really love this sweet couple then will be the best example for the people who believe in a better world.

£72,000 betting riddle as Kate Middleton is tipped to borrow Queen's tiara for wedding

By Daily Mail Reporter

Last updated at 2:58 PM on 26th April 2011

A gambler stands to win £72,000 after betting that Kate Middleton will become the first 'commoner' to wear the Queen's diamond tiara on her wedding day.

The bet that she will wear the George III Tiara was placed by a well-spoken middle-aged woman in Egham, Berkshire, yesterday.

The Russian fringe tiara is part of the Crown Jewels and was made in 1919 for Queen Mary. It has since been worn by the Queen Mother, the Queen and Princess Anne at their weddings.

Royal tiara: A bet has been placed that Kate Middleton will wear the Queen's George III diamond tiara for her wedding. The Queen is pictured right wearing the tiara at her wedding. It was also worn by the Queen Mother and Princess Anne

Miss Middleton had previously been heavily tipped to wear flowers on her head as she marries on Friday - but the large bet has strengthened suspicions that she will don the George III tiara.

One bookmaker in Ascot yesterday refused to take the woman's £6,000 bet, convinced that she had inside information.

But she drove to a Ladbrokes in Egham where she was offered odds of 12-1.

Her gamble, thought to be the largest on the Royal Wedding so far, has driven Ladbrokes to stop taking bets on what Miss Middleton will wear on her head on Friday.

A spokesman for Ladbrokes said: 'When someone walks in off the street and places a bet like that alarm bells start ringing. We have very strong suspicions that this is what she will be wearing on Friday.

The tiara was made in 1919 for Queen Mary (left) who gave it to her daughter-in-law, the new Queen (right) , in 1937. She went on to become the Queen Mother

'It was a lady, not the kind of person you'd see in a betting shop on any day of the week let alone a bank holiday .

'Asking for a bet in this market is very unusual, asking for a bet of £6,000 is unheard of.'

The George III tiara was made in 1830 as a necklace with diamonds belonging to King George III.

It was inherited by Queen Mary, for whom it was turned into a tiara and in turn given to the Queen Mother.

article-1380592-06EC08E7000005DC-569_468x286.jpg Something borrowed: The Queen wears the tiara at her wedding in 1947. She almost broke it after it was lent to her by the Queen Mother

There was a minor drama when she snapped the tiara in Buckingham Palace, hours before her wedding.

But the court jeweller, under police guard, was able to repair it in time.

She loaned it to the Queen as 'something borrowed' for her wedding to Prince Phillip in 1947.

The Queen Mother loaned it again to Princess Anne for her 1973 marriage to Captain Mark Phillips.

Queen Victoria first wore the George III diamonds on a visit to the Royal Opera in 1839.

The Edinburgh Military Tattoo - very nice.

But why?

Well so do I, maybe 'hate' is a strong term, I don't hate them personally I just think that having this engineered respect for a family totally barbaric, it's not the middle ages anymore. Your work colleagues would be doing the exact same thing if they were born into the family, that's unreasonable.

I don't have anything against Kate or Will, I simply don't care, at the most I feel a bit sorry for him because he's been on/off with this girl, now that he's marrying her divorce is simply not an option. Terrifying experience.

Yeah I'm the same really. I don't think they're better than anyone else because they're part of the royal family but it doesn't make me dislike them either. I didn't grow up in the UK and I have no strong feelings about the monarchy.

Royal Wedding brought forward? No, it's a William & Kate lookalike competition

Onlookers would be forgiven for thinking the Royal Wedding was being held two days early.

But the regal bride and groom posing for pictures were in fact taking part in a William & Kate lookalike contest.

Orsola Rossi and Simon Watkinson UK were flown to London for the competition final, organised by EasyJet.

article-0-0BCAC8E100000578-743_634x391.jpg Hot competition: Ten couples took part to win one year's worth of flights with EasyJet

The pair - dead ringers for the future King and Queen - were the obvious winners and went home with one year's worth of flights with the budget airline.

Besides being a mirror image of the Royal love birds, they had to impress judges by waving like a Royal, acting out a romantic wedding proposal and throwing the bridal bouquet.

Simon Watkinson said: 'I’ve often been told that I look like Prince William, particularly since the Royal engagement was announced, but I can’t believe that I’ve been crowned the winner.

'I’m so excited to have won a year’s worth of free easyJet flights and to be in London for the big day.'

His partner was equally pleased.

Orsola Rossi, 30, from Milan, said: 'To be voted the best double to one of the most famous women in the world is very exciting.

This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity and there isn’t a better place to be to enjoy the celebrations.'

The duo were among ten couples, from all over Europe, to take part.

The contestants were judged on resemblance, curtseying, throwing of bouquets, and proposal speeches.

The contest is just a small part of the Royal Wedding fever gripping the nation ahead of Friday's nuptials.

article-0-0BCAC82400000578-505_634x436.jpg Swept off her feet: Orsola and Simon, from Italy, will stay in London to watch the real Royal Wedding celebrations

Simon and Orsola will stay in London to watch the real Royal wedding celebrations and take in the sights of the city with a friend courtesy of the low-cost airline.

Paul Moore, Communications Director at easyJet said: 'The competition has been fierce with hundreds applying to be crowned the best Will and Kate look-a-likes Europe has to offer.

'However, Simon and Orsola stood out as they bear such a striking resemblance to our future King & Queen.

'It has been great fun to fly look-a-likes from all over Europe to London to enjoy the wedding celebrations and crown our very own easyJet Royal couple.'

I don't have much interest in Royality, but I wish them the best of luck. He is a good example to men around the world, to find a woman, fall in love and marry her. I wish there were more men like him, if you agree with his position in life or not. He is setting a good example to men and I hope the men will watch the wedding.
