Why should there be an announcement on Coldplay.com? :thinking: That would be stranger to me since the boat trip has nothing to do with the band itself. I don't think Ian would post anything if he didn't know where the announcement came from. If there was an announcement on the official website then there would be a lot of people going there just for the fun of it, I think, instead of keeping it a bit privately inside the forum.

man.. I'm so excited, it's going to be difficult to get any sleep tonight.. (well, this morning now)

There's so much to plan, still have to book flights, accommodation and get more warm clothes! Oh, and get the next week off work, which hopefully will be cool with my boss.

There are piers all along the Thames. The good thing is pretty much all of them are near a tube station. Hotels directly on the river are gonna be very pricey. I know there is 1 private cruise line that departs from near the Savoy hotel. I think that is near Enbankment tube station.
