I usually come up with one and get all excited about it but halfway through January forget about it. :|

I don't think they're that silly. But they're just not my kind of thing I think.

I just can't stick to things sometimes too, so yeah.

I don't, because I know I won't accomplish all of them.

I have made them normal ones in the past for example giving up smoking.. etc...

longest I lasted was 6 days... then I met a girl, and started smoking shortly afterwards as she was a sciopath ! and thought she owned me

I never make new years resolutions cause I cant keep them :anxious:. I think the whole thing is a bit silly cause if you want to change you can make a anytimeoftheyear-resolution instead of waiting for new years

A bit silly to me cos I always forget about those.

I'd just keep making the same, which I keep in my mind everyday: Making the biggest effort in school.

I don't make a new one cause this year's still in my head. I'll just scratch 2010 and replace it with 2011. That's it.

I don't, I usually never end up doing it and when I do I fail.

mine has been the same for six years and I've never achieved it, so I guess I'm just lazy?

I wonder what was mine.

'lose weight'

~never works~

I've decided not to this year. It's not that they're stupid, I'm just lazy. I keep putting it off. I can't even remember what this past years was supposed to be.

:D To reclaim my boobs as my own !

(away from my son:baby:)

I don't see the point for myself. I have my aims but I'm well aware of them and I don't try to think of new ones just because of the way the calender is structured. I'll just keep going regardless of the date.

The only resolution anyone should make is never to make one ever again.

I don't usually, but this year I'll try to be a better guy. In everything.

I'm pretty sure I won't forget that...

The only resolution anyone should make is never to make one ever again.

Why do you also have issues with resolutions?

I don't get people who pretend they don't realise the significance of a changing year, as if January 1st is the same as some Tuesday, so why can't we make Some Tuesday Resolutions? It's great if people are so incredibly independent that they won't let their life be run by a stupid little calender, but surely we can see that there's no better time within a year to make changes in your life, as the year literally changes.

Well, actually January 1st doesn't even feel like the real change of year to me. Maybe it will when I'll be working as an adult. But for now, it really feels like a new year is starting in september. So yeah, maybe I don't realise the significance of a changing year .
