That compilation thing was soooooooo cool! :awesome:

I'm pretty excited for this project now! :D

The only tiny little piece of advice I want to say is that you should try to do less jump-cuts and add more transitions instead.

dear jamie,

nice video :awesome:

i have a suggestion, which is that you should end all of the CTV videos with the "How about that?" line. it could be cool.

LLLLLove it!!! :awesome:

You made me laugh so much with the outtakes.

Looking forward to the first ep!

  !

Jamie, I know I said I'd have my bit into you sooner than now...I'll work on it and hopefully have it to you soon. My life actually picked up in stuff I had to do the second I agreed to do something, but I PROMISE I'll have it to you in time :D. I also just don't want to make it sound too gossipy-fangirly, but that's all the stuff I have right now, so it's taking longer than I thought :dozey:.

THIS IS SO AWESOME! Congrats to all of you.

I'm really excited, can't wait to see the next ones

Ha! That's alright. We'll aim to upload a video every Saturday evening so just try to have them in to me by Thursday at the latest, I'll edit on Fridays

WOW Jamie!! That was totally epic-ly fantastic!!!! I can't wait to see the result... so far I think it has a huge potential! Congratulations Jamie, and good luck! :)

Well thanks to you, sir! For your a-lazing video! :awesome:

I'm not sure I understand, what sort of transitions? The show is still going through a phase where we're all trying to get a feel for it, so any suggestions are generously accepted.

LOL! I don't know if it would sound as good rehearsed,

I literally talked into the webcam unrehearsed for about ten minutes and that bit only made it to the final cut when I was like 'hey, that would work as an ironic touch at the end of the outtakes' haha, but maybe, I'll try and slip it in because you did a fantastic job with the C's oL titles :D

I hope I can continue to impress

Thank you, sincerely!

You all spoil me, now run... Run and tell all of your friends! :awesome:

I'm going to bed because editing is a bitch! But I will reply to every single person who leaves feedback, good or bad, this is all a learning curve and I hope to improve with every video! Your support and time given is a blessing

Goodnight!

Very well done Jamie! Like everyone else has said, the outtakes were hilarious, but a few less jumpcuts wouldn't go astray ;)

It's supposed to snow here like crazy (again) on Tuesday-Wednesday, so that's when I'm going to sit down and write my bit :D. However, I'm just kind of miffed that the only things to report are really gossipy sounding and about their personal lives rather than the music. I feel like I want to wash my mouth out for writing such tabloidy stuff :P

I think everyone just needs to use common sense when talking about rumors and the band's personal lives (though it sounds like everyone is being sensible at this point). We want this to be known as a credible source of information, so we should make an effort to emphasize what is rumor and what is fact. (I guess there could be a "rumor segment" at the tail end of the news...someone else can think of a catchy name for it) Still, I think we should limit ourselves with how much unconfirmed information is provided if at all possible. I realize news is slow right now, so this may be easier said than done. But we don't want Coldplaying TV to be discredited just when it's starting out.

YouTube video is good, and I'm not going to be too critical of it seeing as how it's merely an introduction rather than an actual episode. Some of the text used over the footage seems unnecessary (I mean the visual comments, not the titles), and I assume by "transitions", people mean dissolves and fades at each cut just so it seems smoother whenever cuts are made. Otherwise, I think the best approach to figuring the positives and negatives is just to get a full episode up and analyze it. Good stuff so far. Looking forward to the next step.

personally, i think using fades/dissolves more often than just plain jump cuts would actually make it look choppier. :\

what would be best is if as much as possible could be done in one shot, which would probably require a lot more outtakes than this video had. XD :P

:cheesy::lol: well, it was just an idea.

and i have the WillLuv sequence for you as well... The Bucklannnnd one is almost finished, i just need a certain audio clip *cough cough*

Loved it Jamie! Good job guys looking forward to what follows!! :)

Exactly, which is why I've been having a hard time writing my bits because I don't want it to become *that kind* of thing, something more celeb-mag than about the music. I'm supposed to be writing the segments of news on each band member, and because there's not much going on publicly in the Coldplay world right now, I don't have much to say that doesn't sound stalkery or tabloidish, and I don't plan to include those things at all. I guess I could say that Will serves his children porridge with golden syrup because that's straight from the horse's mouth...:P

I would never include rumors as news, but my point is more that the things I have to say about the guys in such segments have more to do with their personal lives than the band or the music, and I don't like that balance, personally :\

I loved it!

You're funny :awesome:

I can't wait for the first episode!

I loved the outtakes :laugh3:

dp :whip:

:laugh3: That was bloody brilliant and just hilarious....out takes must be a regular feature Jamie ! Loved the end by Thomas as well ! This is bound to be an awesome addition to Coldplaying !

As everyone else already said the outtakes are brilliant

I must admit at the beginning I didn't understand what this project was all about, but after seeing this introduction I think I'm gonna like it :D

That was a great first video to just introduce the channel. Honestly, I can't wait to see the first episode. Especially considering some of my handiwork is probably going to end up in it :D

this video just made me more curious about the #1 episode :awesome:

:laugh3:that video was so funny! and the video clips Tomas made are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you!!

:lol:and yes outtakes have to always be included :P
