this album is going to be so bad...

v

Quite frankly amongst the biggest piece of shit I have read on Coldplaying.

Go and sniff shit out of Thom Yorke's bygone out of date arsehole. Wonky eyed freak of nature.

.

this album is going to be so bad...

Bad as in awesome

:P

every band eventually has THAT album.

....but i thought viva was that album so if its not then..... :blank:

im worried.

with so many of the biggest bands releasing shit albums and all sorts of soulless trash taking over..... I seriously fear for the future of music.

I hope this is good.

If its not i will camp on the roof of the building opposite the beehive and snipe out Eno my fucking self.

I don't see why they have to eventually come with a bad album. But for certain people I bet they have already had THAT album, many hated x&y many hated viva, so well see who will think the next is THAT album, hopefully not me :P

Yea it seems like bands just run out of ideas sometimes..please coldplay don't be one of them!

I was never too happy about that guy Eno, I don't know I just feel he butts in too much with the creation of coldplay music. Like if he wants to make them to what he likes, to make them another U2. If coldplay were to have a not so good album, it would be Eno's fault :veryangry2: don't think many would oppose you sniping him out :P not even me, who I am not really the violent type

This board has been full of rage today.:argue:

:freak:

I'm leaving for Liam's sake.:baby::snobby:

Sweet Mickey Mouse dreams, everyone ! :awesome:

:flutterby::mickey::daisy::mickey::flutterby:

Nooouuuu but if you leave it will only get worse.

We need your kindness to balance it out!

:P

First of all, I am not a Coldplay fan. I used to be.

My favourite Coldplay albums are Parachutes and Viva La Vida. Although I really loved Parachutes I'm beginning to think VLV is actually their best album. Brian Eno and co did an amazing job on working with them to build on their sound. Just listening to Cemeteries of London now, there are a lot of really pretty and interesting sounds going on in the background that I would expect to hear from bands like Radiohead. I'm serious. The songs themselves are not amazing but I think the way they have been recorded makes them so much better. Brian Eno is amazing (although I think he's made this album sound a little too much like U2 than it should...) I think if they had recorded with someone else then this album would have just been another rock album.

and to be honest, I think Death And All Of His Friends might be Coldplay's best songs. Fuck. I really like it.

I dunno, my music taste has matured to a point that I can appreciate different music even if I am not a huge fan of it myself. Alexa has been pretty immature in this thread, so has howyousawtheworld (can't really believe I'm saying that, as I am quite a few years younger than both of them.:P)

Anyway, I hope Coldplay build on the sound they had going on VLV with Eno and others for the new album.

Back on the real topic though, I think most of the song titles are pretty ridiculous. I hope the songs are better....

As I expressed my opinion, he started to diss me, so go figure who started that.

You should be the last one to call me that, since many times I've told you that you became an arrogant/immature prick based on your posts about certain bands and things.

You've changed, but you were there too.

I doubt it's a hate. I understand why X&Y looks like a disappointment for many but nevertheless it was a step forward for the band. I don't hate Viva but as you mentioned before I want more depth. And now I even more enjoy and like Prospects EP than VLV.

Well I think it would be good if the band could record experimental (check this [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5HanECXBtw]xylophone [/ame] stuff) and small (means w/o other big people names like Eno) album.

Sorry, I didn't really read the start of the argument.

I know, I know. I was. But I have changed(I feel like a prick saying that...).

I just don't think you have to continue arguing like that over tiny things though?

if they're going to d another x&y (delusion) or another viva (nice but it's enough), i'm not going to buy it, or i'll buy it only for my collection :)

Really, stop with these fireworks, lights, and butterflies. We need more FEELINGS.

LESS IS MORE. and Parachutes is a PROOF of this.

I thnk Chris Martin is fooling around everyone about what Coldplay has done for LP5 until now. For example, "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" is evidently in the album and it's a precise song.

People, these are the only real facts you must know about the new LP:

a) The album is completely recorded. since December. Band is still choosing the songs amongst those done and presenting them to EMI to make the final tracklisting.

b) The schedule is that Michael H. Brauer and/or Andy Wallace will mix the selected songs around March,

c) The album will be out in May 2011

Take my words for granted, and keep them for the record, whenever these news will be confirmed.

Source?

It could be true and now guys is working about design, presentation and tour schedules. Btw announced festivals gigs this summer suggest they more or less in the final study.

Wait, aren't you the one who heard Violet Hill before anyone else? :surprised:

I think locust7 is right. Didn't Chris say in another interview that the album would most likely end with Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall? And then say Hurts Like Heaven is a song in which Jonny "comes out of his cocoon"? This would suggest that the song titles (well some of them anyway) are matched with lyrics/music. Could it have been that this "latest" interview happened before the one from a few weeks ago?

Interesting... May seem really far away, though. :\

I hope it's true, and I agree with axe about the less is more bit. Even though I loved VLVODAAHF, I think it would be nice if they did a more simple kind of album, (well simple is not the word, sorry, I can't really explain it :disappointed:) I don't mean Parachutes II, but something that does not require so much paraphernalia on stage. After such a big and espectacular show like the Viva one was, it would be nice to aim for something simpler. Although, I have to admit I loved the butterflies of LiJ :wacky:.

I think ideally Coldplay would like to keep their release date as late as can possibly be revealed so to not send the fans and music press on their tip toes because as the biggest selling band in the world today there's bound to be a lot of pressure.
