NEW SOUNDTRACKS TITLES! Coldplay: 'We're still trying to deliver our album masterpiece'

Featured Replies

That's why us "music elitists" make fun of you.

Viva is absolutely and without a doubt one of the worst albums I've heard and you are biased.

You're a fucking elitist cos you think that your "non judgement" makes you better than the rest of the fans here.

I am not a fan anymore, but you are clearly blinded.

Jeez, who crapped in your cornflakes? I never said I was better than anyone  so your the one being biased, trying to make me sound like the idiot I'm not just because I like Viva.

Fail. :D

I've listened to a lot more than you have.

You seem to be unable to look anywhere else, it's always Coldplay or Oasis related.

You have to be either the most biased person on the planet or you're sitting on a thumbtack. Do you know us? Honestly know us like the back of your hand? I think not. So please, in all politeness, fuck off. :D Thank you :D

random thing

o.k. guys it's no matter, just as everyone is eager to see what is the Radiohead's LP gonna sound like.:dozey::P

howyousawtheworld, you're wrong,completely wrong.....

titles are important, but not as important as the music, I just can't wait to hear it

I only became a Coldplay fan a year ago this month, so I'm a bit more open minded than you people

lol you just said you are more open minded than other people so in a way, you are saying that your judgement is more reliable(read: better) than the fans of the earlier album.

Which is clearly a biased opinion as well.

Um well I thought D stands for double, and P for post therefore Dp stands for double post, lol.

not sure I wanna know what YOU were referring to

Desperate or what?!

I'm still unsure about the titles : \

but I'm afraid I have to diagree with Chris on the teardrops waterfall title it just feels pretty cheesy to me.

I'm the "we'll see"!I'm so affraid that the album might suck!

Well to be honest, I have a history of not liking a coldplay album right away, so I get a little nervous with each new album that I wont like it. But in the end I always call myself an idiot for not liking all the songs right away. But I kinda like it that way because I get time to really discover the songs and appreciate them. Hmm maybe this all just makes sense in my head :P

Oh actually I have pattern with each album.

Parachutes: loved it

AROBTTH : did not love it all at first (my favorite now though)

X&Y: loved it right away

Vlv: did not like all of it at first

Next album: by the look of this pattern I will love it :P

I don't know why, but I feel the same :blank: Even though I know that's stupid thinking so, but I'm just afraid I won't like it as the olders :\ Maybe because it's the first time for me I wait for an album of theirs to be released, because I "officially" started to listen to them at the beginning of 2008 and I noticed that Viva was out only in... July, I think, when I found this compilation with a Coldplay song in it which I had never heard, "Violet Hill" :P

... But in the end I do the same as you :D

I didn't love Parachutes at first, just a few songs... I loved AROBTTH more or less since the start but songs like A Whisper or Daylight... I immediately liked X&Y although it seemed a bit repetitive in sounds at first... When I listened to VLV I was like "What?! It can't be Coldplay!", but I soon loved it... And now I absolutely love them all and every single song!

So... dunno! We'll see :dozey:

+ 1

I've been waiting for this one for so long, there's much anticipation around it... i'm sort of afraid to hear it :uhoh2:

I'd be so gutted after nearly 2 years of waiting (haven't been able to go to any gigs) if i wouldn't like the album... Like *first listen* "hm, i hate it" *give it another chance* "still don't like" *another..another..another* "okay, i just hate it" :blank:

Except for "Every Teardrop is a waterfall", i find the other titles ok... so "wait and see".

Heyyy, what's your issue? Someone woke up on the wrong side of the universe this morning :D

U guys are weird :P please don't tell me what it "means"

Im gonna go change it :P

I'm the "we'll see"!I'm so affraid that the album might suck!

I said it thousand times before - one day one new Coldplay album will suck. But it doesn't really matter cause the main thing is NEW WORLDWIDE TOUR!

And for the record Viva and Parachutes my least favorite, but if I could choose I will prefer new album closer to Parachutes rather the last one. Which seems too polished and heartless. And the same team is recording new. So.. at least they will get rid of those ridiculous suits.

Up With The Birds sounds a great title though.

:vuvuzela:

That was a very childish way to dismiss what was said.

Well, I still think Chris is screwing with us about the titles:P

TITLES mean nothing to me.... I am in it for the music.............. I don't care if they have a title called "Hairy balls" as long as the Lyrics are snappy, and it has a good beat, and there are some "ooooo's, and ahhhhh's" in the chorus:lol:

that relly good news ,coldplay wiil return to the past, and this album is not concept, they wiil talk about love songs, escape and addict.

Up With The Birds sounds a great title though.

That one sounds promising, it's open to a lot of possibilities. (as opposed to Every Teardrop is a Waterfall, which screams love ballad)

Every Tear Drop Is A Waterfall does not have to be a love ballad, if you ask me. It could be about disappointment, remorse, pain, regret, loss, and yes even love, but not necessarily cheesy if the sentiment is expressed deeply. The mood could be sorrowful, dark, hopeful, or inspirational, etc. It could be centered around a person, an event, a child, a mother, or even a pet. We will see... I think the possibility is endless. Or it could be shit.

But everytime you have been wrong, so im hoping you will be wrong again :D

I think it would be cool to have an album close to AROBTTH but with a major twist. I just want more of the depth that album had.

Desperate or what?!

That was weak coming from you, next time you wanna make me feel bad cos I like those "alien music arse freaks" try harder, cos I don't care, they're a lot better than what you listen to, at least they don't stick to the same formula *cough*Oasis*cough*.

Thing I wouldn't say about Coldplay though, there are clear changes in each album, whether I like them or not.

Can't say I'm surprised.
