I literally don't know what I'd do if I got to see them perform Everything's not lost live.

Given the fact that I have that song tattooed on my arm and that they will play in Rock in Rio in october the day after my birthday and that I'm working at Rock in Rio, I think I'd die.

There'd be a lot of pissed off casual fans if that setlist was agreed! BUT - it's a great one. Here's what I would want. One that could please both casual and hardcore.

Violet Hill

In My Place

White Shadows

God Put A Smile Upon Your Face

Clocks

A Rush Of Blood To The Head

Spies

Viva La Vida

Shiver (full band), Everything's Not Lost (the version played during the AROBTTH tour), Green Eyes/Warning Sign/See You Soon (they can't play all of them I guess, so either one would do), A Rush Of Blood To The Head (although I can imagine that would be a pee break for a lot of casual fans) and Amsterdam (ditto).

Oh, and Trouble and Life Is For Living. :P

In reality, I can't see them playing more Parachutes and AROBTTH tracks than they are doing now (maybe they could add one for an arena tour), but it would be cool if they mix it up a bit. That way, if you see multiple concerts, you'd get to hear a few different old songs. The fact that they brought back Shiver at the Christmas gigs and Phil mentioning that it would be nice to bring back Everything's Not Lost as well could point to that. :)

I can only imagine "casual fans" being enchanted by that song. How can they call themselves fans or even human if they don't like that? :inquisitive:

How impressive for a new version of God Puts A Smile Upon Your Face - very "rocky" - I love it! Great to hear Life is For Living Live - those old songs make the show a complete of Co. presentation. Isn't it true that it is all with them, never totally forgotten; together with new characters and enrichment - still very energetic without losing the original pure/real touch - very transcedental. It is like we all walk along with them all these years. It is a bless!
