September 28, 201312 yr Author Love all of this but might I add, What about a Live Album? We havnt seen that yet... You're one step ahead! It's coming.....eventually. There's some really big/cool things that have yet to be announced.
September 29, 201312 yr i've always wondered what way coldplay would be if each one of the members took control. So like what would coldplay be like in Will's Coldplay's universe? (so on and so forth with each member).
September 29, 201312 yr Author March 13, 2012 The second to last single from the band Coldplay is being released today. Trouble is a piano-based ballad, the overall theme of the album. It was released with a somewhat familiar b-side, a piano-only rendition of 'Yellow' from Life In Technicolor.

November 4, 201312 yr Author March 20, 2012 Today is the day, we've been anxiously awaiting, but hoping would never happen. Coldplay is releasing their final abum. As a band. Together. Forever. Postcards From Far Away is a piano based album with ten songs and once again has a Eugene De la Croix painting as the album's cover, and this time another one as the album's back cover. It features some of the band's longest work - For You, Amsterdam & Gravity are all around 6 minutes - and their shortest work - Death Will Never Conquer & the title track are both right around 1 minute each. The band hopes that they will release one final single in late summer early Fall. TOUR SETLIST (PART 2) Hurts LIke Heaven Violet Hill Don't Panic Lost! November 10, 201312 yr Author The last one? I've used all of the band's material! However, it doesn't mean the thread is over though, I've got one or two more things to unveil. Maybe I can revisit the thread in about five years when the bands has more songs out haha.
November 11, 201312 yr I've used all of the band's material! However, it doesn't mean the thread is over though, I've got one or two more things to unveil. Maybe I can revisit the thread in about five years when the bands has more songs out haha. Hahaha fair enough! I've loved this thread by the way! I've made albums for every single album with the album cover. What About a live album?
November 13, 201312 yr You do not have to put the songs on anything as storage and you can listen to them anytime, wherever you see the band live it looks like front row. You can create anything you want in a different universe.
December 11, 201312 yr Author March 27, 2013. After the end of the 2012 Glastonbury festival, Michael Eavis said that tickets would go on sale in October, and that "you'll want to get them as quick as humanly possible." Today, we found out why. Coldplay, who has been touring the past year+ after the release of their final album as a band, will headline ALL THREE WEEKEND DATES AT THE PYRAMID STAGE IN THEIR FINAL LIVE PERFORMANCES AS A BAND TOGETHER. I used all caps because the situation clearly called for it. Initially, the band was kind of against the idea of three straight shows for virtually the same audience. They thought everyone would be sick of them. But Eavis explained how much the band meant to that festival, and would love for them to close their live careers there. The festival has stated that no real time contraints will accompany these slots, as they are the last act each night. Coldplay said they will make each show a little different to give the fans something new every night.
December 26, 201312 yr Author Friday, June 28, 2013. Coldplay's set at Glastonbury's Friday Night Headlining slot, was exactly as most expected: all the hits. The band played every one of their singles, including a surprise performance of 'Christmas Lights.' Jay-Z joined the band on stage for 'Lost+', and Rihanna came on for Coldplay's version of 'Princess of China.' The show was loud, and full of energy, even when Til' Kingdom Come, Us Against The World & Princess of China, took their turns on the setlist. In an interview after the show, the band hoped everyone would appreciate their Saturday show saying, "Tomorrow night will be pretty different music-wise; we played all the songs that even the people that hate us the most recognize. Tomorrow's show will be a big thank you to our biggest fans, though it might be a little sloppy. I just hope everyone here [at the festival] isn't tired of us yet, We still have two more days up here." December 28, 201312 yr What are you going to do when they release Lp6? Are you going to keep going with this or finish it from Parachutes - Mylo Xyloto?
December 31, 201312 yr Author After this Glasto thing, I'll probably be done. If Coldplay releases about 2 or 3 more albums with songs/b-sides that could fit into three categories, I'd revisit this. I want enough material to get some good album names, workable art, and sound categories. But nothing immediately.
February 3, 201610 yr Author UPDATE: WATCH THIS SPACE I have some ideas. This could making a comeback. Very soon. Get caught up!
