Jedi Leo
Ironic how the hidden clues, lack of info and all made people irritated and paranoid on the forum...Maybe it is part of Coldplay´s masterplan and sociological experiment...uhh uhhh they´ve got one eye on Xyloto and one on us
Jedi Leo
Ah this will be played at the festivals apparently. So does that mean we will get to hear THREE new songs before the album is released?

Blue Nails
OK, so Don't Let It Break Your Heart it is then. I'll get used to it. Surely the song isn't half as cheesy as it's title. Even the title isn't that cheesy. The only thing is that it has 'heart' and 'break' in one sentence.
TraceOddity
I don't get why everyone thinks it's such a bad title.OK, it's a little...er...sappy? But it's not that bad. It sounds like a hopeful song to me. I'm not criticizing anyone's opinion, just not understanding it.

Major_Love
I love the title! But maybe the reason is that I'm not a native speaker. If my favorite band would call the song with the equal german translation maybe I would also be disappointed... :P

The only reason this one is so bad is that "Break Your Heart" has got to be the worst cliche ever.

RiotFever
The Break Your Heart is what made it cheesy definitely, Burn Your House instead of Break Your Heart would have been better
TraceOddity
To be honest...and at the risk of having rotten eggs tossed at me...I always though Fix You was a cheesey title, but it's so heart-felt and sincere that it didn't bother me. I'm guessing, and hoping, this will have a similar feel.

The Duke
I could care less about the title. I'm excited about the description from R42 as 'almost violently life affirming' And yeah, this is coldplay, cheese comes with the band.

Blue Nails
^ Fix You is a great example. I really should not judge songs by their titles. From now on I love DLIBYH. ;)
The Philosopher
I love the title. Could there be another optimistic and sad title at the same time than "Don't Let It Break Your Heart"? OK, apart from Fix You :D

OK, apart from Fix You :D I totally agree! I don´t understand people saying that´s too cheesy. Coldplay deals with emotions, so it´s no surprise that they would come up with titles like that. In my opinion, something is cheesy only when it´s maudlin and not heartfelt. I think Coldplay always portray heartfelt emotions, hence they can never be cheesy :)

And in the same way we think that, I hope that if not now (in the album or in a EP), someday they should release Love In A Lethal Dose. I really love that title too! :dazzled:
