Don't remember who posted the Twitter message with : thinking about the setlist....

But I can say that they could have put a little bit more effort into the thinking part. Apart from Moving to Mars (which is great), everything stayed the same. I really don't understand that. They have got an amazing catalogue of great songs to pick from and yet they always pick the same.

Still, I was moving like an idiot on the Ikea "ladder"I use as a chair. There perfomance is great, their songs are fantastic, but it would be nice to see some change one in a while.

Unbelievable are ITV. And they just showed the most generic Coldplay song they could have - Viva La Vida and cut when Charlie Brown was about to start and then onto truly thick comments about the song 'I think that sounds really Christmassy with all the bells and everything'. Do me a favour! And I'm really wanting to kick that cockney **** in the face now.

OMG! They're still talking to Vernon Kay and they're promoting Family Fortunes!! Do these idiots have any shame?!

Exactly! They only showed the songs that people are gonna know anyway but that's ITV for you! Missed half of it thanks them and Coldplaying didn't load at first. (I obviously should have checked this earlier but still.)

Anyway, it was a great show from what I've seen. Looking forward to watching the whole of it tomorrow.

GREAT!!!

So, I record the WHOLE show in FULL HD!!

I'll upload it tommorow and share the link with all of you!! :)

Now it's time to sleep in Germany ;)

Thanks a lot!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! :D:D:D

There's definitely some heat issues in that room when they are all sweating like and not just CM.
Yes, if even Guy's sweating then the venitlation of the venue isn't working right! :P

   Looks like that guy's grabbing Guy's ...

:sneaky:

^agreed ... not to be harsh on coldplay, their performance was awesome, but i felt a like the setlist could've been tweaked a little more than just one song! :D

Nice show! Definitely a nice surprise to hear Moving to Mars... but I think what I said once before was proven: you can't play this song live. They did alright, but you can't just can't capture the beauty of that song playing it live. I'm glad they at least gave it a try, though... now I know for sure that my thoughts about playing it live were right.

Anybody else think it was going to be 42 after hearing Chris begin to play it on the piano?

it was a great performance but as it's been said it looked really hot in there. the sweat of chris just poured of him literally from the start, he should've been singing every sweatdrop is a waterfall. Chris seems to be improving vocally with each performance he does and it was great to hear MTM (wasn't a fan of the studio version), it sounded beautiful live. Us against the world is still breathtaking, when that piano kicks in it just sounds so pure and captivating, looking forward to hearing it on the album. Always great to hear Shiver, hoping that won't leave the setlist ever! looking forward to hearing the rest of the festivals and hope they keep on getting better and better.

Thanks in advance, gute Nacht! :nice:

That would explain that look on Guy's fact. Someone needs to caption this for the LOLdplay thread!

Great Show!! A lot better than Glastonbury!!! But no Princess Of China :(
I've seen Glastonbury on a bigger screen so can't really compare it equally but to me Glastonbury was better.

What stood out for you that made it better?

he should've been singing every sweatdrop is a waterfall.

I loled xD, but your right he was sweating like none else.

But the Songs were great.

Loved MTM live for the first time.

MTM LIVE

Yes, if even Guy's sweating then the venitlation of the venue isn't working right! :P

Yeah, I was surprised to see Guy wearing a tshirt when he normally wears a jacket that covers from his wrists up to his chin! :P

Yep.they were too hot in there :D

Totally agree!! I thought that maybe they would play again Princess of China, because of the venue, but I supose they haven't much time to change the setlist as they are finishing the album. Anyways, thanks to iTunes for streaming it, I've could watch it with good quality. Oh, and thanks Chris have mentioned the people that couldn't make it to the gig.

A great show. Not the best, but still great!

MtM...amazing...and very brave. On the stream at least it seemed to get one of the best receptions of the night :sunny:

I'm amazed Chris didn't pass out in those hot conditions...and he looked to be struggling at times, but did amazingly well...very early on you could see sweat pouring off his wrists as he played the piano...

I think you could also see the extra pressure the boys (particularly Chris) feel when they play in London, and so (I guess) why they don't do it so much.

The crowd were pretty 'mixed' I thought, must have been hard work to play to at times. Damn those guests in suits, and casual gig goers. The true fans were exceptional though

Still think Lost could be, er, lost, and I personally hope MM will be too.

HLH, MtM, CB, UAtW...all mindblowing. That's a third of an album right there of absolutely astonishing material for me :o

Hope everyone who got in had an amazing time - sure you did :P

Goodnight all

Well, I agree with you in a way...but it's really hard to change the setlist!I don't

know which one of these songs I wouldn't want to pick!!!It's not possible not to pick Viva for example!I love all those songs they played and many other songs that they didn't!Which one of those do you think they shouldn't pick?
