Amazing! The show was incredible! its like the 100000th time i see coldplay live but I still don't get tired of the clasics! hope you enjoyed Moving to Mars like I did! Its not a song that will be played often! once in a lifetime (well not that much, but is not a song that the band will play in their upcoming tour) Lucky the people that heard the "U" song at the soundcheck... Im pretty sure some people recorded it, i wouldn't be surprised if it would appear later in youtube (i hope not), anyway, good night, and see you in japan! (not literally). -Mnemonic Murals

If anybody finds this please post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU, I was looking forward to this picture:

So epic :wacky:

He was singing "Raise the Flag" there, looked so nice.

to see a great full setlist we have to wait until october.

its ok that they play the same songs, this are festivals, different people many not - fans see them.

Its good that they stick to a setlist.

Plus now we got MTm :D

Beautiful. Moving to Mars through Life is for Living was the greatest sequence of songs EVER.

I thought that was a bit disappointing.

Pulling a Muse and asking for song suggestions then ignoring them all. noey.gif

And his singing, gah! Some breath support would be nice! :bigcry:

They weren't asking for song suggestions; Phil just tweeted they were changing the setlist.

The person who made a thread ABOUT that tweet was asking US what songs we wanted to hear...for fun. The boys weren't actually LOOKING at that thread. It confused me too though.

Is it just me, or have they slowed down the tempo of hurts like heaven since our first time hearing it at rock am ring?

Not sure, but they have definitely changed it by dropping the beat for the part "I feel a little bit nervous" (and the rest of the band play more softly) - it is a really cool innovation and really helps the track.

Yeah, I was surprised to see Guy wearing a tshirt when he normally wears a jacket that covers from his wrists up to his chin! :P

Oh yeah me too!!:D

Well, I agree with you in a way...but it's really hard to change the setlist!I don't

know which one of these songs I wouldn't want to pick!!!It's not possible not to pick Viva for example!I love all those songs they played and many other songs that they didn't!Which one of those do you think they shouldn't pick?

I just think that it's a real shame that every time you watch a Coldplay show, you know exactly what you are getting.

I'm also a big Crowded House fan (don't know if this makes any of you nauseous, sincerely hope not) and they always do different stuff. You can even throw paper planes with your requests to them, and they always find time to fit them into the setlist.

This might sound more harsh they I intend it to, but Coldplay doesn't show they are great musicians. They are great artists and performers, but "lack"the ability to surprise. Their is a great recording of them during their AROBTTH period (I think) where they play "spies". This shows how exceptional they are. (one night in paris recording).

Coldplay will never be in the same league as Radiohead, only because they play the same set-list every night (whereas Radiohead change setlists around so you never know what you are going to get)

He's an alien, so now we know why they have the "UFO" symbol

Ok then.

I may be dreamed but I heard my name on song several times during the show, it made me weird :shocked2: :stunned:

While you can't base quality on fame,it's also not fair to judge it based on whether a band mixes up its setlist. As others and I have said, Coldplay's show is very complex and the lighting/XF etc. can't easily be changed for more than a few songs. Yes, I know that technology exists, but they way they do it now is easier. Not about who is better, just different approaches.

And like I said already here, 10 years ago, we wouldn't be able to see all these great shows. I'm grateful no matter what they play. :)

What a fantastic show! One of, perhaps even the best, concerts I've ever seen. It was very intamite. Must of been hot too, Chris was litterally dripping and guy avtually took off his jacket:o

:D Fantastic.

That's where labels are a pain, and I respect Radiohead's decision to leave EMI. I wish Coldplay had done likewise.*Ducks*
