  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

Lotus Flower was good even though Thom stopped in the middle.

Little by Little I'm not so sure about. I think it sounds good, but different and the rhythm is off, at least to the studio version. I need to listen to it more.

To be honest of the new songs the only one I was really impressed by was Bloom (and Staircase of course)

Which stage did they play on at Glastonbury? Was it the pyramid stage?

ETA: It's nice to see these songs played live by the band. Because, listening to them via CD made me fearful that it wouldn't translate live.

Magpie complete ....

DAT BASS!!!!

and sorry for the triple post above

and btw why did Thom stopped in the middle of Lotus Flower, what did poor Jonny fuck up?

You should have dedicated Separator to Alex.

I love how a crowd who wasn't even expecting to see Radiohead still knows every lyric, even to the songs from TKoL.

I hate our North American crowds.

I don't think I'd see a DJ set given an opportunity. I guess beggars can't be choosers, Detroit only saw Radiohead once back in the nineties and they'll never be back.

And I've never seen the confirmed reason why. I've seen theories, but nothing definitive.

And I see the great Arcade Fire are starting to follow in their footsteps... it's a shame, I think their manager has some sort of bias to it given that the UK has seen them more on this tour alone than Montreal probably ever has.

The last time Radiohead played here was in the early 90s; they'll never play here again either I'm guessing. It would be nice if they'd at least play in Toronto on their next tour. I feel like a lot of bands have been skipping over Canada altogether lately.

I think most bands and artists play in Toronto.. I always thought Radiohead played there in like 2008?

Radiohead live in the basement. A must see...

^ Nice.

Having a sixth person on stage during the concert was definitely beneficial for the Reckoner performance, that was great.

FYI, the Austin Brock dude with the YouTube channel with the oodles of Radiohead concerts (including the previous FTB performance) posted this comment:

Radiohead's management have replied to my request to post TKOL LFTB by advising that once the initial broadcast is made, if it appears on YouTube, that is out of their hands. However, the BBC never responded, so I will post it as soon as I can possibly do so.

Again, if the BBC or any other company take it down, then I cannot host it on my profile.

Fingers crossed.

yyaaayyyyyyy
