Mine is done! But I'm afraid it's too boring or that the listener won't like it!...:uhoh:

Nick, I haven't even given it to you yet...

Oh also Violet it's probably a good idea to put the due date in the title of the thread

Only a few people are done as of right now, Christina. You're good. :nice:

Good idea, too. I think I'll edit it now.

I need to start to work on this :bomb:

Luckily I have an itunes list called "songs to put on mixtapes" :wacky:

^ uh Brilliant! I must create such a playlist!

I just have a constant list of albums in a playlist for that year, so I have a "2011" playlist that I'm choosing about half from, along with some songs that aren't from this year that I find worthy.

I uploaded mine earlier today, might as well submit it now

This what I do:

Have a playlist in iTunes with your songs

On your desktop make a new folder for all your songs to go in

Drag all your songs into the folder and rename them 01, 02, etc.

After that, select all your songs, right click, click properties, details, and then remove info

Then make a NEW playlist in iTunes for all your songs

Drag the songs from the new folder into the new playlist

Edit the info in itunes, name the album, artist, etc. Blank or something

Finally, go to the new folder again and make a .zip file with the songs in there.

If you want I made some custom album art you can use if your old album art doesnt go away

That's exactly what I do, step by step. Works #1 every time :)

I've always just edited all the song info on itunes, then dragged the songs into a desktop folder. All the info is already changed so I don't even have to mess with the properties, except the names of the songs are still there, which I just have to rename to 01, 02, etc.

just got started at picking initial tracks... have to narrow down and make a good flow next

I made mine in audio editing software, to make the songs flow better. I then exported the tracks from there, which meant they had no info to begin with.

Dear Par-tin-a-ner:

Send me anything that YOU like....just please no rap, cursing, no auto-tune stuff.

Upbeat, fast tempo music, or slow songs that build up would be cool!

Movie Scores, anything Coldplay-ish :P, I like U2, but surprise me :D

oh man...whoever has this person can we swap?

You know very well you're not allowed to swap partners, Eddie.

Don't worry about it too much, you can always put some of them on the next tape! :P

Haha, I can't believe I signed up for this. *hyperventilates and tries not to throw up* :|

This is actually a huge accomplishment for me, taking part in something like this. :dazzled:

You should be very proud.

^^GO CRESTS GO!

And I lied. I've sat down this afternoon and tried to work at it for a bit when I have the time. I'm quite a little bit happy with what it is so far.

I forgot to mention. . .

To my partner, I'm really sorry but my computer just doesn't do rar files. :|

So a zip would be very much appreciated, thanks! :anxious:
