I'm a member of PRS and (as a member) you can search their online database of registered songs. I typed in Chris Martin and looked at all the newly registered work under 'Christopher Anthony John Martin' and a song called 'Mylo Xyloto' was registered on 6th July 2011!!! The writers registered for the song are all of Coldplay and Brian Eno. Wither they actually call the album Mylo Xyloto or not or that might be the lead single (maybe released on October 10th because the first letters of each word being MX).

You know guys, I've been googling the title for a couple of minutes, and this is what I came up with. Probably a stretch, but on the other hand makes sense in a way.

Basically a swastika (ancient Indian symbol plus some nazi crap) formed with CCTV cameras. (One eye watching you, 1984 references in MM and so on).

What do you say?

wowwwwww. more coincidences!

I went to this artist's site (again, his name is Mylo, and the website is Xylo.me) and look what I found.

Now don't tell me it doesn't remind you of two things: the new Coldplay font used in ETIAW and paint on walls from the ETIAW video.

There's definitely something here!

Disclaimer: maybe not)))

"Xylo - CCTV swastika, Brick Lane

CCTV cameras arranged in the form of a swastika by Mylo found in a street off Brick Lane. When out into context with Mylo's other work this makes sense but prior to that I'd been asked on more than one occasion if this was far right graffiti.

All photographs copyright artofthestate 2008"

OMFG, Xylo, Mylo, eye watching you, graffiti, that shit is DEFENITELY related to the title AND to the album!!

Thhiiiiss site is about Graffiti toooo!!!

Spray Can Soul is "A soul made of spray".

It was so obvious (no it wasn't, but I am very happy!)

Look behind Chris, people always thought that it said MX behind him but the X was cut off, but I always did think it had to say "MY" because it didnt look like an X to me, but now I notice the top of a letter behind him as well (possibly an L) and the O to the right.

OK, Rafael, so you like this coincidence thing.

Look at the 7th image at http://www.xylo.me/2-D.html

And go to properties or save it to see how it is called.

I laughed at it.

Lots of people were guessing a title with M[...] Xylophones or something like that, and I just found something interesting.

There is a xylophone related equipment called "Xylotote", as you can see here.

Make your calls... it might be a mix between this xylotote thing and that evidency found before. DU NO.

xylo !

This might be the "walking man"...

look at this Flickr group named XYLO

'Up With The Birds' has also been registered and Leonard Cohen is listen as one of the co-writers. Apparently the song contains 'samples' but it doesn't state where the samples are from. Might be a Leonard Cohen song. I think this could be the next single as well, it's the only song they've registered the length of (apart from ETIAW) and it's 3.30 - perfect radio time.

For me...

"MX" is just the name for the Introsong.

I just guess "Morse Xylobrytes" Xylobrytes is just a different Word for Xylophone.

The Intro sounds for me like a Morsecode from the Aliens just in Xylophone sounds, and it would be stupid if they call the Album something with Xylophone/Xylobrytes when just the first song had something to do with it.

 And what would Mylo Xyloto mean?

Still haven't a clue. I've been googling for the past half hour. Apparently the pre-fix 'xylo' means something relating to wood??? Maybe they've just invented the words themselves though, can't imagine them singing songs about wood lol, although ETIAW has the line 'maybe the trees are gone'. I remember hearing they were masterminding 'a brave new direction' and I guess it would be pretty brave to invent new words and call the album that.
