Well, the way that one worked is that a CPing member leaked it on there so CPing wouldn't be liable. Then Coldplayers hijacked the site :sneaky:

Yes, it's true. We swarmed their forum for a couple of insane hours. They were really great to us though. Nice bunch of fans. :)

I heard muse is in studio working on there 6th album, Ill have to months for that too, but I can barely wait a week for a Mylo Xyloto leak. HOLY GOD!!!!

VLV was leaked pretty quietly here first. Track by track in multimedia, I think. Then, of course, some folks ran to the populated forums posting in all caps that it was leaking and so those threads got shut down. It was pretty nerve-wracking to get everything going on the JT forum since we hadn't received all the files here.

 

In other words, if someone gets a peak of it on this forum, don't publicize it and cause everything to get shut down before someone can get the whole thing and easily provide directions to another site.

I was going to suggest when it finally leaks that to slyly let everybody know without having links everywhere on coldplaying would be to start a thread called 'SEXY IS COMING BACK!' - but then I realised, as clever as it is, there would be ten threads called 'SEXY IS COMING BACK!' and that would not help matters at all.

Yeah, didn't we get like 2-3 tracks here before moving to JT? I can't remember :P. I don't remember threads getting shut down, though, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

 

This is the thing: it's best for everyone to not freak in public outside of the MM forum (which is members-only, but still risky then), but we also know everyone's going to lose their shit when anything happens in full view of whoever and there's going to need to be massive damage control :lol:

for LP6 we should set up a Leak Commission - who will not only be responsible of finding the leak but also distributing it quietly to everyone once the leak is found.
