Look guys, here in Argentina, EMI has leaked Evanescence new album last friday (Oct 7th) which comes out Oct 18th = 11 days before...so I think it's very possible that EMI leaks MX on Oct 15th or maybe this friday 14th! :D

EMI is NOT going to leak the album. And they did not leak Evanescence's. It just...leaked.

 

Someone will. But NOT EMI. Why would they do that? How would that make sense, in any capacity?

They might STREAM it, but they certainly would not LEAK it,

because that action would cost them millions of pounds, dollars, yen, euro's etc etc etc.

To be honest, I think (like what they did with Viva) they probably have a site, ready to go, with streaming capability. They'll launch it soon after the album actually does leak. It stops people from downloading when they can just stream it.

I think they did so after it leaked to download on file sharing sites. I'm sure they'll do the same for MX.

They'll probably do the same with MX (this week maybe) ;)

Streaming is pointless- people don't want to stream it, they want to download a leak so they can put it on their generic MP3 players (if they're peasants) or put it on their iPods (if they're win).

If it's already been released somehow and somewhere, it's not a leak. A leak happens when something is released before any official release.

It's a weird story for me, because this will be my first coldplay album that I buy right when it comes out. I only started listening to coldplay in 2006, and I only had 750 mb's worth of music on my mp3 player, so I didn't listen to them that much. I listened to bands like "HIM", "Fort Minor", and Elton John. I remember exactly where I was when I found Viva online. I was at my uncle's house, and i was browsing the internet and found some songs on ares. And that's when I really started listening to them.

 

 

Amazingly, I didn't buy Viva La Vida until last year, because I already had the full album that I got online. So this album will be different. I will listen to the leak, and put the new album on my mp3 player, but I do intend on going to wal-mart on the 24th and buying my physical copy. :)
