December 4, 201114 yr I guess they always will keep it at around 1hr30 (see the SECC thread) but they should be pushing ten or fifteen minutes more imho. When they add in a few instrumentals/asides, and the B and possible C-stage delays it SHOULD be longer. 1hr30 on just the main stage is reasonable though and what I expect from a Coldplay gig after so many years attending. I think they kind of owe it to their status to make their concerts longer. They might still think they're a small band, but they're not. They have had 5 succesful albums and you can't just play 1h30 for the rest of your musical career if you're as big as Coldplay. Maybe if they let some space in between concerts, they could reacharge after giving a 2hour concert. Because 2 hours is the least they could do.
