I phoned up and the automated woman says it's sold out in both venues :(

If you ring TM there is an automated message which says they're completely sold out. Gah.

hmmm so people got tix yesterday with little pain (even though they only hold back severly restricted numbers available to coldplay.com people), yet today there was nothing?

I wouldn't be surprised if TM have a small error today...

I got my standing tickets yesterday thankfully, but I wouldn't worry you lot they will release another 2 dates, either later this morning or next friday. They just don't want all the standing and lower tier tickets to sell out straight away and be left with lots of higher tier tickets.

When will they add the new date?

They better add another London show otherwise the whole thing is a joke. I reckon the majority of tickets were sold in the presale.

I managed to get a Upper Tier ticket!! So pleased. Although it was so stressful. Someone rang the doorbell just as it was about to go on sale, and the dog was barking at the top of his voice for the whole time.

I bet loads of 'packages' start appearing. £400 for a t-shirt, ticket and free bar.

Stinks to high heaven.

...and why only 3 dates-biggest band in the world-haven't played for 2 years. Don't put yourselves out guys.

Given today's experience, a second or even third date still scare me (of course I'm hoping for them, but what, are they going to be sold out in 2 or 3 min this time?)

It's a joke that there are so few dates for such a popular band. It's almost a certainty that the US tour will have twice as many dates as the whole of the european tour. *grumble*

is there any news of a possible MX tour next year?

this was absolutley mental, didn't TM learn after the TT fiasco

stupid question (i've never been to a cool concert before): the standing tickets are cheaper??

Limited European dates, no American dates.

I think they'll be back in the summer with a few stadium shows. This is just the warm up.

I did manage to get 2 tickets in block 105 from StarGreen, but gave up on them. I need to get 4 (so i'm trying to get 2 pairs from different websites). Why have the put a limit of only 2 tickets?!

ironfist7997, in many years of buying tickets for U2, Coldplay and various others, I know that Ticketmaster will never learn.

:nice:

Wow, think the whole thing has pretty much sold out.

Would anyone like to swap an Upper Tier seated ticket for a standing one?

they've limited to 2 because what a lot of people were doing was buying 4, keeping two and selling the other 2 on eBay for double to give them (effectively) a pair of free tickets.

Be very surprising if there wasn't.
