Far and away, my favourite song on the album, and one of my favourite all time. Just such an incredible song.

One word - overproduced.

It's a great song but the drums are way too loud... I can't hear the voice and the melodies.

That doesn't mean overproduced. It just means you think the sound balance isn't optimal.

It's ok when played on speakers, but the beggining of the song violates me when I listen to it on my headphones. :confused:

Yeah I agree slightly. The mix will probably be a lot better live. I feel like Major Minus has the same problem where the vocals are just a little less prominent than they should be. In terms of drums being too loud, I like where they are. It kind of makes me think of Politik.

I really like the song, it's positive and energetic, the lyrics are great and it is vocally really strong too! :) I gave it an 8, really digging the song more and more, though to me it is kinda...quiet? The production on MX is not my cup of tea.

I think Strawberry Swinger might mean the mixing on the vocals, which aren't quite tiptop. It's something that would be resolved live (think, MM studio vs live).

DLIBYH deserves a 10..to me its some kind of classical Coldplay. AND AHT is the best wakeup call ringtone i´ve ever had :laugh3:

I only gave it a nine because the intro is a seperate track and when I play on normal, or even shuffle, I never get A Hopeful Transmission and Don't Let it Break Your Heart in sync.

 

You can mix then together into one song, but I dont want to compress the song layers :blank:
