I was going to say something coherent and educated on this matter as from the offset it looked like a legitimate thread.... but then you lost off all of your credibility by going out on a malicious low.

Also, saying 'Fuck this is bad' and hating on people who just don't agree with your opinion is a dick move. Here's how I see future you in a marriage.

You: Darling, Lets watch HBO.

Wife: But 'Nature' honey, I would really rather watch CBS, they have such quality shows as 'The Big Bang Theory', 'How I Met Your Mother' and 'Two and a Half Men'.

You: NO, I WANNA WATCH HBO- FUCK CBS IS BAD! YOUR OPINION IS DIFFERENT TO MINE AND I MUST BEAT IT OUT OF YOU. NATURE SMASH. GRRRAAWWWRRGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

WIFE: NOOOOO HONEY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :freak:

Just painting a picture.

Haha you are hilarious.

burn it!

A Pig did a Shit on it.

I think this album is fantastic. Been on repeat since it's release. I think it's different. You can't say that COLDPLAY can stay to pure simple whatevers. You're not respecting them as artists then. They should grow. If they were exactly like AROBTTH, you'd get bored and say sayonara in an hour.

I like MX, seriously. No hate here.

But AROBTTH is NOT boring. You take that back right now or I'll personally make sure you eat your parents in some chili.

too much South Park for you dude :D

Im still not tired of it, though I take breaks from it and listen to a few songs of other music.

but when I go back to it, I still love it the same :)

Im so torn on the way they promoted the album. Im glad they did the festivals and played new songs. I would never never never regret going to lollapalooza and hearing the new songs with the older songs. But, I did miss some of the mystery of hearing an entire album for the first time. BUT then again, I was so excited and happy when I heard how the album came together. Sorry for rambling :P I guess bottom line is... I still really LOVE the album!

Soooo looking forward to hearing all the songs live!

I like this album so much

It's funny how every MX thread is turned into a hate/love MX thread, whilst this one for example has got nothing to do with it. You can love the album but still feel like it's worn out already

Well, it is a nice album but to me the main problem is,that ive heard to many songs before the album came out(no leaks, just the summer festivals)...thats why i think sometimes that it doesnt feel "fresh" enough...

Yes, very much so. I've listened to it start to finish about a dozen times and I rarely listen to an album start to finish, mostly because I don't have much time where I can focus on one thing for an hour straight.

That Joe Cortazzo leak weirdo only listened to Coldplay. Ever. I wonder where he went? He was interesting.

NOTHING ELSE WILL DO

yeah. where did that guy go? Perhaps he finally "FOUND THE LEAK"!!! lol :laugh3:

I hear MX like 6 times per day since it got leaked :dazzled:

I listen to it every day and MX is still interesting for me ^^

I have to be honest, I've never been fond of the album. Haven't listened too much, I was excited when I heard it for the first time but that's normal. But after a week I was tired of it already. Of course, when I listen to some tracks now, I think it's not all bad. But it's not interesting. By contrast, Viva was weird in the beginning weeks but it only grew more interesting as time went by. Viva was/is everything Coldplay think MX is (concept, cohesive, varied, grower, experimental, alternative, ...).

But, it angers me that yet another potential constructive argument or discussion by "dislikers" is ruined because the OP is a dickhead who wants to shove his opinion down other people's throats. You can't force them to hate it. I'm afraid that many of the fans who like it now will get bored of it in the near or slightly more distant future. But please, let them enjoy it while it's still enjoyable for them - yes, I'm afraid the album is not the grower they are trying to promote it as, but quite the opposite. And for those who will always love it, that can only be good. I for one just think that MX will not live for too long, and it will not be what fans will remember Coldplay by in 30 years' time. Their masterpiece was made 9 years before. But then again, MX is what it is, it's there, for the time being. Let people love it. Let it be.

I was gonna discuss the thread, but the more I read of the original post , the more I would come to a conclusion that is an idiotic thread and that you are not respectful of other people's opinions. That's dumb dumb fans to you.

(this coming from sb who is not at all crazy about the album)

Yeah, think that if you (Nature) were genuine interested in why people love the album, you should have been more careful with the way you wrote the first post. I don't know if you want to know the reasons behind people loving the album or if you just want to tell people that they have to stop loving the album because they are blinded fools that need to understand the truth.

How come that the amount last.fm shows differs from the amount of plays iTunes shows? 955 versus 108 is a big difference or does iTunes show the repeats of last week/last 24h? I also did some calculating and if you listened to the album since the leak of 17 Okt, then (assuming you are awake 16 hours a day) you have spend 1/5 of your time listening to Major Minus alone. You listened to the others a lot too, how do you manage that? You listen to music while you eat/visit the loo/cook/work/have school/talk to people? (pure interest/curiosity)

Major Minus and ETIAW is from the EP, so they are listed with plays from June. It says "EP" over the Last.fm list as well. ;)

Oh my, I forgot that MM was on the EP (which I don't have obviously)

Nevermind! hahaha

Great post (as always).

To me it's getting more and more interesting, but I'm only at my seventh listen. And that's partly because I'm afraid it might not be good enough to hear many times.

hey, can you not understand that just because some people are not realistic or actually LIKE the album doesn't justify you calling them blinded fools?

Oh wait, I am not calling them blinded fools! Read more carefully, I just asked if Nature wanted to know why people love the album or if he just wants to tell people that they have to stop loving the album because they are blinded fools according to him.

It wouldn't make any sense for me to call people that like the album blinded fools, because I am one of the people that really likes the album! I just didn't want to post my reasons for liking it if Mr. Nature here is just telling us we are idiots (or blind fools or whatever, you get it).

All cool again?
