  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

^Yep, and Tampa is one of the concerts where they are opening :D

No effing way! Really?

the greatest stadium rock band of all time with the best stadium rock band of the moment. what a lineup!! shame its happening in north america where they'll most probably be about 14 people in the 80 000 seat stadium who have heard of Muse.

:disappointed: It's quite true though.

But I believe Muse are more than good enough to win over the audience. They aren't the best live act for nothing.

I've just received a tee-shirt I had ordered. It's HAARP on the front, nothing in the back. Colour, black. Very nice tee-shirt.:)

oh, come on, I think Muse is more popular in the states than we think, besides, if there wasn't a fan base, they wouldn't be touring here. Also, I've been doing my best lately to spread my muse fanaticism to my friends....for some reason they're not really going with it....:P

I agree! but I think u underestimate the fan base here in the US. They sell out their shows that they do here, certainly last tour they did. Granted they weren't playing stadiums but were playing normal sized arenas for the most part... That says something.. And after this they will certainly be a lot bigger here!!:D

^^

for God's sake they supported My Chemical Romance!!!

but at the end of the day you are right. they only "relatively" less popular in america. i think their next album will make them massive down here in aus. in the last 12 months i have converted 12 friends into muse fans :)

Surprisingly, most of my friend are Muse fans to some extent. Maybe not the crazy rabid type who cling on to every detail of Matt's, Dom's and Chris' lives but at least they can rattle off all their album names in the order of release date without thinking and sing Sunburn and Bliss and Citizen Erased

They will convert every U2 fan into Muse fan for sure.

^ yeah but then you would never hear it!!:laugh3:

stop kidding please:laugh3:

But of course! Because Muse is the epitome of all things great.

...Well, maybe not all things, but it's close.

^ Yes. Yes they are.

Two days ago I read they'll tour Europe and the US in autumn. I'm looking forward to knowing the dates. :P I've never seen them yet.

I know this discussion happened a long time ago now, but I must say that I think Muse are a lot more popular in the US than you guys say they are.

I know a lot of Muse fans in France and in UK. I've talked about Muse to American friends but they don't know who they are except young people.

Thats old news, but they still havent announced the dates yet for gods sake.

I often check out on their website and it's only a few days ago that i saw this announcement without mentioning any date but they'll know it soon according to what i've read. As a result, i'll have a look more often.:)

if it's related to opening for U2 it's not new.

No, Plug_in_Coldplaying, I intend to see them in Paris. It should be around Toulouse date. In addition, Toulouse is on the Southern France, far away from my home whereas Parc des Princes or P.O.P.B. are located at 30 mn from my home by subway.

Seems it indeed wasn't new for the most part, but there is a special Muse fans pre-sale going on today for Raleigh, Dallas, and Houston for U2's shows with Muse:

I still hate each and every one of you who get Muse as your U2 support acts.
