Hmm... finally just listened to the album stream. I'm not sure what to think. With the first section I'm not blown away... but I don't dislike it. I think it will grow on me.

 

Now the Symphony. Wow. That was something. Pretentious beyond all belief, but who wouldn't expect that from them. And they pull it off so well.

 

I'm so jealous of Matt's piano playing. He supposedly can't even read music. I studied for nearly 6 years and can't play anything. *sigh*

How many times has everyone listened to the album?

The whole album about 6 times, me thinks. But I listened to Resistance and Undisclosed desires most of the time.

I'm absolutely in love with the whole album now! I really am, the only song I don't really like is Unnatural Selection!

 

Fave's are Undisclosed Desires, Resistance and Eurasia!

So after a week, I've decided that Guiding Light is my least favorite song on the album. I'm okay with a bit of cheesiness (I'm a fan of Starlight, for crying out loud), but Guiding Light is basically a new version of Invincible that aims to be far more epic and theatrical than it actually is.

 

Resistance and Unnatural Selection compete for my album favorite, but Resistance may pull through due to the fact that Unnatural Selection drags in the latter half, while the serene, drawn-out build and fade in Resistance doesn't inhibit the song.

Box set finally arrived today :dance:

I still haven't heard the album, as my box set hasn't arrived and I want to wait for it. But, I am finding it immensly difficult to resist listening to it so I don't know how much longer I can manage. Bah!

so I went to get my album and was so happy to play it and guess what???????!!! IT'S F******ING SCRATCHED! argh! How annoying!

 

But my least favorite was Guiding Light. I do not like the singing at all.. the chorus is not that good but I love the instrumental version. I really love the beats. I pretty much liked the whole album except Guiding Light & Unnatural Selection.. those two will have to grow on me.

yes, Christa! It sucks! I wanted to burn in on my computer so I would be able to pass it to my ipod and it won't burn either.. & I couldn't wait to play and it wouldn't play.. so I put it on my stereo and all happy and dandy & then I could tell it was scratched! Mk ultra & I Belong To You are scratched..so I'm gonna have it exchanged for a new one.. :uneasy:

i am just fine and dandy, actually bought the muse live dvd today. saving it for tonight!!! so you have to go back to the store or did you order it online? its so funny i didnt want to listen to it until i got it the other day, and everyone had heard it but i wanted to wait and hear it in the car, its like my own little studio

hahaha there's just something about listening to music while driving.. No, I did not get it online.
