Absolute Radio have just tweeted this;

 

MASSIVE Coldplay announcement on the Christian O'Connel Breakfast Show tomorrow morning at 7:45 GMT

 

What could it be? My money is on something Olympics related!

Maybe they are at the radio station before their UK Stadium Tour. But that is not probably "massive"? Or is it?

They won't be performing at the Olympics (impossible according to their schedule, and they already denied that anyway).

I can't see an EP coming out since during their breaks they actually took breaks.

I agree with Tash, maybe a more official announcement about the new tour DVD.

Or more dates to the tour, maybe.

Or completely something else. Maybe an official date for PoC's release, or for the video or something like that.

I know the schedule doesn't suit great for the Olympics, but they did hint they were doing something for them the other day during that ET Canada interview..

 

For sure it could be something to do with the DVD or some more live dates. We'll have to see!

I'm excited! Can't wait to find out! Don't want to get my hopes up though, could be just something like POC video or a show for absolute radio.

I doubt it will be Olympic related cos if it was left to them to announce rather than the official Olympic people then they would go to bbc radio 1 or capital because they are the most listened to stations in the uk, not absolute radio

I wouldn't mind if the big news was a few concerts more, if those were closer to where I live! However, I'm still hoping for an EP - there's a lot of unreleased material there and it would be a shame if they don't release it, since the album's been out for 8 months now.

True but they haven't released all the singles. We're still waiting on Charlie Brown and PoC.
