This is without a doubt the best Coldplay Album out there, so personal, so emotional, so downright heartbreaking. This album haunts you for years, 10 years isnt enough to get this album out of my head.

Could not agree more! I remember buying this album and listening to it every night before going to bed for over a year. I remember freaking out when The Scientist video came out, I was on vacation, and every time it came on MTV i would sit there and watch it, multiple times a day for days. Ahh! :D :D

Happy Birthday AROBTTH

This is amazing, I just discovered it.

Such an epic album. To celebrate this date, Coldplay should play more songs from AROBTTH in their next concerts. Actually, I'd already be really happy if they permanently added Amsterdam and A Rush Of Blood To The Head to their setlists.

Still my favorite though I think VLVDAAHF is superior. Happy birthday to a literally life-changing album!:D

Happy Birthday ! :D Warning Sign , Green Eyes, Clocks , The Scientist , Amsterdam, Politik

Happy 10th Anniversary to "A Rush of Blood to the Head" - Coldplay's best album in my opinion with i.a. CLOCKS, the SCIENTIST, POLITIK, IN MY PLACE, Amsterdam and Green Eyes.

:dazzled: I cannot get over how fucking incredible this song is.

Y U NO PLAY THIS ANYMORE COLDPLAY.

I am not kidding when I say, I would probably become a maniac if they play this song anytime soon.

EDIT: I see no one's posted anything since my one four months ago.

too right. im not sure if they will listen to our calls to change the setlist though. a rush particularly would be epic if they play it live again

Happy 10th birthday to the best album of all time - or at least - without a doubt the best Coldplay album of the millennium.

For some reason I've been looking forward to this day, as if a tenth anniversary means that the album, and the band Coldplay were at that time, would come back to us, revealing all its secrets and taking the atmosphere of those good old days with it. As if it would at least put a brake on the wheels that are taking my former favourite band in a direction of further shallow stardom, a direction towards which I can only feel an increasing alienation. That feeling of alienation - or do I really have to say disgust? - is the reason I stopped following Coldplay from really close by, which fortunately gave me the opportunity to discover a lot of great bands and their music.

On a slightly more realistic note, I hope the birthday announcement of the official Coldplay website will bring a nice surprise, like some live footage of a ten-year-old gig (see Parachutes) or maybe an A Rush Of Blood To The Head-styled t-shirt in the shop.

In the meantime, the flawless party animal will have another play through the speakers of the stereo system. Taking me from the first perfect note of Politik to the last gorgeous tone of Amsterdam...

This post actually made me cry a little. I feel the same way, though I won't say 'disgust'. Definitely alienation. I love them and I always will, but MX lacks the depth of AROBTTH, imo.

Didn't mean to make anyone cry here. :\ Anyway, I'm not sure if I'd say disgust, that's what the question mark is for. Maybe borderline disgust. Or let's stick to alienation. :p

Happy birthday AROBTTH! I don't remember premiere of this album, but since I'm listening Coldplay (2005) it has specially place in my heart.
