This has probably been posted before, and it is possibly now lost within the forum somewhere, but I really want to get some opinion here. What is the best song that Coldplay has ever done live?

 

In my opinion, Daylight is one of the best. I can't believe they really don't play it live anymore. And as of this concert I've been to recently in July, my favorite song that they played was Violet Hill. There is just so much energy live!

I agree with daylight, and that epic version of clocks with that long intro druing the x&y era

I like how they start Yellow on the MX tour with the piano. I also like the heavy rock version of GPASUYF. And the Scientist when Chris has the crowd echo the "oh-oh-woo-oh's" :)

Warning Sign ! I am in love with the live version :)

I like the more rock moments like Glass Of Water, GPASUYF MX version and 42

I'm glad to see some love for Daylight and 42.

 

I guess I'll pick GPASUYF MX version as the best.

I remember Violet Hill and Clocks were extremely loud when I saw them. Both were fucking amazing. But in my eyes, the best has to go to Hurts Like Heaven, that song is pure energy. From start to end it tells an epic story and is a fucking fantastic concert opener. No doubt in my mind. Although Major Minus has a lot of energy in it. The solo part is amazing.

Because when I saw them every second was absolutely positively FANTASTIC

Right now I'm gonna say Clocks. But Charlie Brown, Viva, Lovers in Japan and GPASUYF are up there too.

No doubt about this one in my mind... Moses, from the Live 2003 DVD/CD. It is the most incredibly tight, live performances of any song I've ever heard. It still amazes me at how smoothly this gem comes off!

All songs were absolutely great - no doubt!! But I was really fascinated by Violet Hill and Jonnys amazing guitar parts in it!

I can't help but cry everytime I hear/see Fix You live

I love all their live stuff but my favourites:

GPASUYF (MX tour)

Clocks (LRLRL)

And I cried when I heard Fix You Live so yeah

Cant really say which one is the best cause they are all great but if i had to choose one i would go with Clocks 2006 in Toronto. So much energy in it, its crazy. Not to mention THE BEST ending for a song ever.

My two favourite would be Clocks and GPASUYF.

With GPASUYF probably JUST taking the cake. I love so many of their songs live though.
