I saw you guys!! We were upgraded but I think on the other side of the stage, we were dressed as the band it was an amazing show i still can't believe it even happened!! I have only ever seen them in Philly so seeing them at a different stadium was pretty cool! And of course they are so amazing live! A roadie came over to us and gave us some signed autographs which was pretty cool and chris stuck his foot up at us after realizing that we were dressed like him :)

I saw you guys! Me and my sis had white T-shirts with neon paint and butterflies over-black hair! We were sort of in a panic that night lol I wanted to tell you guys how awesome your get up was!

○ MY COLDPLAY REVIEW ○ (As A Mexican Fan In A New York Concert)

I never review anything, but this time I wanted to! Some words I just translate them as we use them in Mexico, but I'm not quite sure if they make sense, so please forget and forgive... Here I go :)!

There I am, in the middle of the strangest mix of everywhere people. New York is one of those places that many people wish to go sometime... Now, just add the fact that this is a Coldplay concert and I'm a Huge Fan... Let's just not talk about the Naturally 7 performance which was awesome...

Lights out and Back To The Future theme starts to sound all over the place... I'm kind of shivering and feeling that sensation that something big is to come out and it does...

Coldplay is on the stage and all people's screaming and shouting, the place become madness as Mylo Xyloto + Hurts Like Heaven make all the Xylobands dance to their rythim as the people jump and sing the notes... "so cold, so cold"...

As it ends is time to go back to our past and I remember when I was a teenager, listenging to In My Place, for the first time thousands of MX-papers cover the sky and fall in pieces all over the crazy crowd that look up above amazed by the beautiful colored-papers rain until they reach everybody...

Major Minus becomes the first kind-of-quiet time of the show, but it goes pretty well, red lights make and that mystic sound makes me pay attention in a deep manner to the perfect mix of riffs and sounds...

Lovers In Japan and everyone is surprised for another rainy time, but this time seems a different kind of rain, as the song reaches the chorus balls start to fall from everywhere and we start to have a really great time playing with them to one side and another, and then, the paper colors again! So at the ened you're in the middle of lights, sounds, and balls-papers rain! it's just awesome!!! Wouldnt be Lovers In Japan if it's not for that :)!

One of the most nostalgics and romantic moments comes with The Scientist, couples kissing, alone-people almost crying shouting louder the lyrics, Nobody Said It Was Easy... Let's Go Back To The Start...

1, 2, 3 go! as the song says, the place turns Yellow, everything is that color, the lights and also the wall on the background, even peoples faces turn a little yellow when they face the stage! this is definitively an anthem! (I took picture down below in Yellow).

To continue with this Colors game, now the place becomes darker and slowly turns Violet as Chris sings If You Love Me, Won't You Love Me Know from Violet Hill.

Now a deep low sound starts, I tell my friend to please record this, I advise her that I'm going to move... she was really close to me and I advise for the second time "Really, when i say I'm moving I mean, A Lot!" ... "Now let me see your hands in the whole place" says Chris and then it explodes! lights crazy, people clapping and I'm dancing like an idiot :), but I'm just enjoying God Put A Smile Upon Your Face a lot!!!

The band moves to the B-Stage (which I would call X stage) to perform Princess of China that becomes one of the girls favorite song as you can hear most ot them signing along to Rihanna's (feature on screen) voice...

Still on X-stage a really relaxing and pacific time comes with Up In Flame and ends with a song that I will save as a treasure, never thought they would perform Warning Sign, I feel like crying, but it gives me no time as I can hear my heart beats...

Chris takes some of the papers from the floor and then another explosion to tell the world Dont Let It Break Your Heart! no matter what the problem is, this song is all to cheer up and it does, some red lighted figures are all around the place just like forming a circle if you join them, one of them a Broken heart which was my favorite!

Then, it's time for the climax of the concert which was the next 3 songs in my opinion,

First, the well-known and ever shout out Viva La Vida, is incredible how Will can hit the Bell and the tambor with that coordination and Chris running all over the place, and showing himself as an athlete. People is really excited about it... but there's no time to process the command, "Everybody put your hands up in the air" says Chris, and then "Go!"

Now you're not just attending one of the best acts in the world, you are part of it... Xylobands lighting, turning on and off following the song sounds makes you feel that you are part of the show, you're celebrating life along with the band, eveyewhere you turned your face you see a Xyloband lighning with Charlie Brown!, we are definitely Glowing In The Dark!

You ain't got time enough to stop feeling that motion and strange wild sensation when you realize that you're actually in Paradise. This is the time when you can appreciate the perfection of the graffiti wall which is all blue-lighted up and you can actually see how big Coldplay has become, some of the people are probably there just for this and other couple of songs, but me, as a huge fan from the beginning, after this 3-anthems-song-set feel proud that my favorite band has become this massive, energic, awesome, spectacular, colorful, stunning, emotive band! Now they're not only music, they're colors, they're scenes, they're people following them, ever single thing is part of it!!!

A moment of silence, people wondering what's next, since I've seen videos of this tour, including the Live 2012 in cinemas I know what's going on, and I just turn my head to the right side of the Barclay's center, suddenly a light appears between the crowd and I point "it's there!" people around me turn their heads, they're ready for a sweet dosis of Us Against The World (I have to mention I didnt see Gwyneth since I was too focused on the band)... What I love about this performance is that one by one the four members of the band appear on the stage just to show you how all of them are important to make this a complete band.

Speed Of Sound is next, good to know that they still consider X&Y album even if it's just a couple of songs... When it ended up they go back on stage walking across the arena...

After the encore, all those traditional green lasers come up to let us see all the smoke from cigarretes moving in everyway through the lights, it's awesome to hear the sound of piano in Clocks melody which makes you remember of the good old times...

Then the most inspiring time of the show, Fix You is being played, I took the time to enjoy the adorable song while seeing faces of the people close to me, some of them showing a face of sorrow, others almost crying, some people wih the face of hoping a better future, all of us letting us being Fixed by Coldplay.

All good things must come to an end, and what a better way to do it that with a summer must-listen song, this is how this MX era started, and it's now how this tour ends for me, MMIX + Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, this is where the band use all of their energy in making this impressive, stunning, Chris running and jumping all over the place while singing the lines of the song, colors of the Xylobands flashing for the last time, and finally the drums of Will giving birth to the end of the song... It's being just awesome, Coldplay's the real thing...

I was lucky that I had already booked my hotel and airplane to New York when they announced the shows... I'm lucky of being part of the MX era tour since LatinAmerican tour is in risk (or at least we still dont know if they're coming)... but here in my country is a well known phrase, If Rome dont comes to you, you go to Rome! :) So I went all the way from Monterrey, Mexico to Coldplay!!! and they just gave me one of the best nights of 2012 :)!

To my dear Coldplayers, I apologize for taking so long to update you on this show, but here we go. This was the sickest most incredible night of my life. That may be an understatement. Me and some friends drove up from Nashville and met more friends that live in CT. We got to New York early Sunday morning and walked around to see the city all day, it was great. I'd heard about the upgrade on here, and after talking to some of you to get advice, I got the whole group to make shirts. We got to the arena 15 minutes before the doors opened, and I was freaking out. My energy was out of the roof when I walked in, but by the time I got to my seats, it went down quite a bit. They were pretty bad. Upper level behind the stage, we had three of us in one section and 4 in another. Two groups of two of us went walking around the arena, while myself and two others stayed in the seats. I was talking to the girl I was sitting with and glumly told her that I didn't know what to do to to get the upgrade. She talked about how if anyone got it it would probably be the other three that got upgraded if anyone did. I said that it would be better if some of us got it rather than none of us. At that point, I looked down into the lower level and saw two from our group talking to a guy in a black T-shirt. I knew this what what we were supposed to be looking for. I grabbed her arm and said, "this is happeneing." Right then I made eye contact with those two in the lower level, they waved to us and started waving us down. I called one of them and asked if we got the upgrade and he said yes!!!! So I called the other two that were walking around and then we all ran down to meet the rest of the group. They were talking to a roadie, and when we got there he shook my hand and said, "so you're Brad? I hear you're the biggest Coldplay fan." I didn't say a word, but the rest of the group said I was. He then held out a ticket and said, "This ticket is the best seat in the whole arena, you're going to be closer to Coldplay than anyone else in the world tonight." I was speechless. I was in the front row in the corner seat right in front of Guy. This whole night was euphoric. During Viva when Chris looks under the little synthesizer that he plays, he held eye contact with me for a few minutes and waved at me. It was incredible. Best night of my life.
