AMDB9
The answer has to be something off X&Y I'm thinking
anthamic
The moon's b-side could be its dark side; Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon EDIT: My Talk guess was wrong, but something would be related in that PF album.
anthamic
I ran away said it isn't Talk, but I'm still confident it's something to do with TDSOTM Sent from my Death Star using Tapatalk
AMDB9
Well maybe Talk is the intermediate song we need to look at
AMDB9
Is it Ladder to the Sun lol?
I ran away
Well guessed ! The album is The Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd. Don't worry, you won't need any in-depth knowledge. The "See You Soon" and the moon and the B-side were hinting at the famous phrase "I'll see you on the dark side of the moon". Although I'm not sure if anthamic was just guessing at the song in general or was talking about the red sentences...they do indeed refer to Sleeping Sun ! Sleeping Sun touches on both mentioned subjects "a piece in a jigsaw...you've got your answers/answers wil come" Now (with a little help from google, if you're not familiar with PF) you should find the song from the DSOTM album that is the key to solving the Coldplay riddle ! I ran away
No...did you find the PF song ? you should find the song from the DSOTM album
anthamic
Speak to Me = Talk Breathe = What If lyrics(?) On the Run = I Ran Away Time = Clocks The Great Gig in the Sky = ASFOS(?) Money = Such a Rush lyrics Us and Them = Us Against the World(?) Any Colour You Like = Colour Spectrum Brain Damage = AROBTTH(?) Eclipse = Soundtrack w/ Coldplay in it(?) I feel there's something missing.
beastwars
I try with Trouble. I found a connection between Talk and Brain Damage ("You shout and no one seems to hear."), so the title of the PF song is referring to some kind of "Trouble"... Nie
I'm trying to pick this up again. So we have 1. "The dark side of the moon" album by Pink Floyd (I was thinking of that yesterday night because of the dark side but though: nah, that's not Coldplay related.) 2. Sleeping Sun So "Sleeping Sun" is the connection with a number on the PF album that we have to find in order to find the answer to the whole riddle? *can't believe I'm on google searching for PF songs right now* :D TIME --> So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking --> sinking sun = sleeping sun? So, if we are looking for a song about "time".... they sure have a few of them :D First guess: Clocks? edit: according to wiki Time has ticking clocks in it. :)
iamsue
I thought Clocks last night but didn't say it. Fell asleep.
Rickulus
So, I ran away, is it correct? :D
Nie
That's the problem when you're living in different timezones, they are :sleeping2: while we are :thinking2: (and the other way around). :D
I ran away
Sleeping Sun => Eclipse ("but the sun was eclipsed by the moon") And now, go get that Coldplay song ! (And remember....nothing is as it seems here, so do not hesitate !) EDIT: Not Clocks, and not related to time in any way
beastwars
@I ran away you didn't answer to me if it is Trouble.
arushofjacktothehead
White Shadows?
iamsue
White shadows makes sense, as "there is no dark side to the moon". But could it also be that since every line starts with "all" on Eclipse, and nothing is as it seems, nothing is the opposite of all. Maybe leads somewhere... Like is there a Coldplay song getting at the opposite of everything or one of the things in an Eclipse line? I may be overthinking this.
Nie
an eclipse is the shadowing of the sun, so to me "White Shadows" looks logical. But logical is maybe not what we have to be. :D
Nie
another thing that has been in my mind since we found the name of the Pink Floyd album is the cover of that album. which looks like the one at the end of the True Love video. Which says "Anything is possible".
I ran away
Not Trouble, WS or True Love ! In Eclipse there is a phrase that you can find in a Coldplay song, too !
iamsue
Nie, that's a cool observation.
Nie
I see 2 phrases that I can find in a Coldplay song: - and everything under the sun --> but we already ruled out The world turned upside down - that you give --> Everglow So my final guess = Everglow
AMDB9
Based on the album cover, I would go with Color Spectrum haha
