As far as I know that is one of the official posters from Catching Fire, the movie, so they are using the exact same poster to promote the song.

Ah, I thought the artwork might be something like that.

 

In case people don't know, the girl standing on the rock is Katniss Everdeen, the main character in the Hunger Games series, so it's seems natural that she is on the cover. :)

It kinda looks like a painting, it makes me think of the covers of VLVODAAHF and Prospekt's March

 

 

 

 

It does look like a painting of Jennifer Lawrence (who does play Katniss as stated above). I didn't really expect any new artwork because I really, really wanted it, so it was bound to not happen! :P

I'm not smitten by it at all. But I knew it would be themed after the movie and wouldn't be designed by Coldplay so I'm not surprised. What mattes is what's inside the package.:)

Did someone realize that the clouds behind her have the shape of this bird that I don't know what has to do with the movie(LOL)?

(You can only see the bird's body, though the beak is her arrow.)

 

Well, the artwork looks fine I guess. :) I mean, I liked that picture of Jennifer Lawrence already anyways.

It also reinforces the high probability that it is only connected to the movie and that it's one-off thing.

The bird is a called a mockingjay (long story) and it's basically the symbol of the rebellion Katniss creates.
