Thanks man but unfortunately I can’t post attachments. Besides, I created it with the specific purpose of being my avatar here so the original is not that much larger then what you see now. Thanks again though!

You're welcome. Your idea of mixing Atlas with Parachutes is really good. :)

indeed

Am I the only person that doesn't understand the point of pre-ordering a download? It's not like they're going to run out of downloads...

God yes, I suppose it's for folks who might forget to download something... Whatever gets them more sales though right?

I wonder if we'll catch a snippet of the song via a new trailer for the movie (being shown before some other new movie's opening this weekend).

They'll probably attach a snippet of Atlas to TV Spots closer to November (see examples [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQ-6AWeSqXQ]#1[/ame] & [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYN3zXyIbms]#2[/ame])

I keep on checking like every few hours to see if the song has leaked yet. lol

Can I ask where do you check? A particular website or just "the Internet"?

And it's gone :\

You're not the only one. It makes about as much sense as releasing it on Sept 6 except in the UK. 6 days, 7 hours.

For me it looks like they want to have #1 on UK Singles Chart. 3 days may not be enough. Releasing it on Sunday means that they have whole week.

^ It'd be much easier to get it to n°1 by releasing it everywhere at the same time, they're gonna lose a huge amount of sales in 48 hours.

And it's gone :\

well damn

This is all so messy and weird.

Hey, who knows, maybe they took it down for a bit to add a preview?

If the delay in the release was because of lack of promotion, I don't see them promoting a lot anyways. No previews. No trailer previews. No promo video.

Get the preview out already, "I'm about to explode".

I wonder how long that takes then, it's been gone for at least 7 hours now.

I'm gonna make a prediction that after all the waiting and the delay, this will be me come the morning of September 6th, after listening to Atlas for the first time.

what if is a disappointment? all the waiting for something you don't like

Same reaction either way really...:laugh3:

And this thread's description is still: 'Discussion of Coldplay's new song to be featured on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack. Release date: 26th August 2013'

I'm about to explode :D:D:D

YEP! That is the only reason.

What I couldn't understand is why are they releasing it on a Friday here. I didn't ask because I didn't want to be the one complaining about an early release.

But I think they are releasing it on a Friday because there might be a new trailer that includes Atlas coming out on Friday Sept 6th (movies are released in Fridays here) I can't think of another (and better reason).
