I was born in 1992. My girlfriend's sister was born in 1997. I remember 1997. That makes me feel old.

I used to play games that were stored on 8-inch floppy disks, that must have been 25 years ago.

Posting on a 16 GB tablet about once owning an 8 bit Commodore computer.

seeing loads and loads of 12 and 13 years old kids going out at 6 pm and not knowing who they are, that made me realize i'm the "old" generation now, I used to be one of those kids

When i get aches and stuff i do feel old, and i think if i had a night out round my local city i'd feel old too but then i am getting close to 30...(2 years to go)

well this week....getting excited about a new drill in the house. i get to finally put up pictures and my dart board.

Kids these days likely have no idea what a VHS tape is... or a cassette tape... or a floppy disk. 9/11 is something they'll read about in a history book.

I feel old when i think about how we used to use dial-up for our internet, tablets and touchscreen stuff were things we only saw in cartoons, having a camera phone was like the ultimate "in thing", i remember when everyone was talking about VCDs and how we used to watch VHS tapes and stuff.

 

sometimes when i see younger people whining about somethings like homework, i think "hey! when i was your age..." or "back in highschool..." It's kinda strange that i can now say these things. :\

 

I feel strange when younger kids call me "aunt" or something... :\

I'm wondering, when do the grown up in your family stop calling you "kids"?

My sister is turning 30 soon and the my youngest cousin is pass the teenage already. But parents, my aunts and uncles still call us "kids".

Not that I have a problem with it. I'm just curious.

im the youngest of the fambly so im probably going to be permanently the family babby (not counting the niece)

Is it me or does every kid these days have a smart phone too? i never even got a pc until i was 13/14
