Hi I don't post much on here but I thought I'd share my AHFODress that I made for my first Coldplay show at the Gillette Stadium. [emoji4]

Absolutely amazing !!! How did you do the designs ? Are they copied & printed onto fabric or what ?

Also - where was that AHFOD backdrop ?

And congrats on being picked and upgraded........ how wonderful for you !

...and this dress got her to do the intro video for Coldplay in Gillette and got her and her mom upgraded to front row, if I may add :D

And by the way, I didnt know you were a Coldplaying member ! Haha, that means that I can now finally claim to have met a member of the Coldplaying forums in real life ! :)

Hi! I can say the same thing! I've been a member since 2012 but I rarely post anything (I'm kinda shy[emoji28]) . I mostly lurk around the forum lol, but I'm on here just about everyday.

Haha and yes it did![emoji16] Wanting to do the intro never crossed my mind. At first I was hesitant (I didn't want my face broadcasted to 50,000+ people! lol) but decided to do it because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to introduce your #1 favorite band. It'll be a moment I'll never forget[emoji173]️

Thank you! I still can't believe that it even happened! I painted the Flower of Life and the "Believe in Love" by tracing the images on to the dress. I could never draw it by hand lol. And for the balloons and Phil, I printed them out onto printable fabric paper and glued it on with fabric glue.

The backdrop was backstage. I got to take a few pictures in front of it when we finished recording the intro.

I'm late responding. Every bit of what you made is amazingly brilliant!

My kids & I finished our flower of life t-shirts! Mine & my daughter's are done with iron-on rhinestones, and my son's is done with nail heads. He didn't want his to be as sparkly.[emoji39]

My clothing art for the Philly show...sadly didn't get upgraded but did already have floor seats in the back...a roadie did find me after the show though and gave me a set list as a souvenir which was cool

IMAG1044_zpst6zjxys2.jpg Kinda cheesy, but I was on a time crunch. To the concert in Detroit, I wore this with a rainbow scarf. The front also has a hot air balloon, painted to look like the one on AHFOD. Honestly, those color shots would have been better for the front, but what can I do. :) Didn't walk around much, so I didn't get upgraded, but some wonderful girls let me come down to their seats and take some pictures.

so we both went to the Philly show with awesome Coldplay shoes but didn't run into each other :surprised:

anyway, these are awesome! how hard is it to draw the AROBTTH art, eh? :P

Wow - there are some really talented folk out there ! I wonder if CP realise how much they inspire people to do these things.

Working on my shirt for the concert next weekend! Starting off with bright neon color shirt! I'll be glowing in the dark probably lol I also bought some iron on patches. One is a colorful flower with the word Love in the center, another is a music note, a smiley face, and I bought some fabric that kind of looks tie dyed. Still figuring out placement and additional things to write/draw. I also bought some of that colorful powder might just splatter it on the shirt for more color. :) can anyone offer advice on the best way to approach drawing the flower of life? Lol

This guy just needed to dye his hair :)

I needed to print mine in certain sizes to fit on different size t-shirts for rhinestone templates, so I did mine on the computer in MS Word with intersecting circles. I could control the overall size of the design by taking a screen shot of it and shrinking or enlarging it. You can watch a lot of great demonstrations on drawing the design on YouTube as well, depending on how you want to create it. There's a neat trick for using the inner and outer circles of a CD to help with the measurements.

Working on my shirt for the concert next weekend! :) can anyone offer advice on the best way to approach drawing the flower of life? Lol

I found it pretty easy with a compass:-

1. Draw 1 circle ( any size you want)

2. Place compass point on any part of that circle and draw another circle.

3. Place compass point on either intersection of these 2 circles and draw another.

4. Keep moving around the 1st circle doing this until you have drawn 6 more around the original.

5.Then move to the outer edge and repeat, drawing a further 6 circles. Another layer like this will result in the AHFOD Flower.

6. You can keep going, using the same pattern, to make your FOL bigger. Just keep using the intersections as the exact spot to place your compass point.

GOOD LUCK ! Hope this helps. :dizzy2:

OK - I've just watched the first part of the vid. in this thread... yes - like that !!!!
