i saw this one camera at the apple store.. i forgot the name.. i should look iit up.. it was 5.0 megapixels.. i think a canon.. and it was soooo small.. i know there are probably some other things you have to think about before getting one.... but it seemed really neat.

it was probably the Powershot S500 Elph. They're tiny little things.

An SLR generally takes better photos. Interchangeable lenses, better flashes, complete manual settings. They're the REALLY big cameras professionals use.
