The Offical "The Killers" Thread

Featured Replies

^ I MUST listen to this if it is better than the original! *runs to youtube*

I've always considered myself more of a casual fan of The Killers. I mean I have all of their cds on my iPod and like them quite a bit, but haven't reached the stage yet of going to see them live or listening to anything extra. Maybe I should start... :D

I have been a fan of the killers pretty much ever since they came out, my first killers concert was in October of 2005, I waited outside all day long, so I could get front row center, this was right after hot fuss came out, so the concert wasn't that long but being that close to them but an amazing experience. I was lucky enough to see them twice this year in their hometown of Vegas, I saw them last month and I thought I would post some of my pictures from the concert:

They are definitely one of my favorite bands and their stage show is just amazing :)

How long have you guys been Killer fans?

I'm one of the newer ones, I started to like them last year but then really got into them December/January. From that point I've seen them twice in concert and know every song. I become a superfan really easily. :dozey::P

When You Were Young preview of the DVD :nice:

And answering the question: I should say since 2006 just because I liked them before but was not that into them, real love was because of Sam's Town, which is still my fave album..and now I'm the webmaster of their italian fansite and seen them a good deal of times

I know that in some U.S. and German theaters the DVD is being played in theaters :wideeyed:

There's a theater playing it not too far from my house, so that is convenient

^awesome!!!

:curtain: he'll get a warning sign to keep his distance

from her old man, from her old maaaan....!!!

I wish that was happening in the UK!!

Still, I'll be getting the DVD. I can't wait to see it, I saw them live earlier this year and they were amazing. :D

Maybe this has been posted before but I Just saw it so...: The Live from Royal Albert Hall teaser. :D

I really wish that this would be shown in theatres here in my country...but of course, it won't be. :bigcry:

Oh my god they're one of my ever favs bands and i'll be looking them next week at Mexico City!!! :D so excited!

ooh just stumbled across this pretty little thread here! are you guys all gonna get the live DVD? I'm normally not a HUGE fan of live dvds but i saw them in concert this past summer and it was one of the best i have EVER seen (and it was a busy summer so that's saying alot) hahah.

what to do...what to do...

get the dvd!! haha but i wish they had released a dvd on their Sams Town tour but i guess we've got T in the Park 07 and their headlining performance from Glastonbury 2007.

The dvd was released today in Belgium!

I am watching it now, it's AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe I already have him, we usually have to wait for weeks before anything is released in Belgium.

If you're a fan, you should get this one, he is really really really good :wacky:

Glastonbury's gonna be on there too? :surprised:

Nope, he's saying that there's not a Sam's Town tour DVD we still have non official DVDs/videos of many of their festival headlining sets from that tour, like T and Glastonbury :)

Damn, I haven't posted in here since JUNE? :stunned:

Likewise, I just found out about the live CD/DVD. Sounds fantastic. I missed seeing them live even though they played a few shows near me in September (one of which was 30 minutes away), so I'll be looking forward to this.

Just found out they'll be headlining the Good Vibrations festival next year... I'm not going to the festival but I'm praying for a couple of side shows, I'd love to finally see them live!!!

LOVE the dvd! It's really worth the $$$... if you're on the fence about spending the money - just get it! so fun :)

if they are close to you i definitely recommend - they were one of the best shows i saw this year and i'd def go a hundred times more :)

I can't wait for the live CD/DVD. Every band should do what the Killers have done when they release a live DVD, which is include a live CD. And it's pretty affordable, too.

The Killers- Live At The Royal Albert Hall

Hey folks!

I couldn´t find any thread about this dvd!

Does anyone of you already have it? I do as a Blu Ray and I´m completely stunned. Amazing live performance! And Brandon´s outfit is really great. Does anybody know which belt in particular he´s wearing?^^

it should be the same as this one? http://www4.pictures.gi.zimbio.com/Coachella+Valley+Music+Arts+Festival+2009+DEP-KMoSt5-l.jpg
