I saw The Killers last night! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

They were so freakin' AMAZING!!!

 

1st time seeing them, and I was blown away.

I was in the front row and center :D

I loved that they opened with Joyride, and closed with When You Were Young.

Brandon was more energetic than I expected, Dave was awesome with his guitar riffs, Mark was steady and cool, and Ronnie (:heart:) played those drums with such passion.

 

I have some pics, but they're terribly shaky, and I took them with my cell phone.

I did NOT want to be distracted with taking pics, just sink all of it in.

 

I was not-so-much of a hardcore fan, but now I'm a full convert "Victim" :lol:

I know! They came to my town 2 times before (in 05 & 07), I could not go :cry:

So, this time, when they announced a date here, I said "this is my chance!" bought GA tix in presale,

waited 3 months,

got to the venue early,

run like hell to be in the front row,

freaked out when the guy next to me confirmed that we were in the center, and engaged in 90 minutes of magic with The Killers and 7,000 people :dance:

 

Had to wait 4 years to see them live, and it was SO worth it :bigcry:

This is not the last time I'll see them, fo' sho! :D

I love The Killers, is one of my favorite bands! I love these guys. Their music is really great. I'm a fan of them. So, is fantastic... found this thread. :) :D

It's one of my favourites and live is even better, I think it's the best opening song they have had so far, it was like a bomb exploding on stage during the Sam's Town tour..I would really really love to hear it live again, not the acoustic version they've been playing this tour apart from some of the last US dates, but the original :guitarist:

I like Sam's Town, but I LOVE Sam's Town Abbey Road version! I like it a lot more than the original one :D

 

I agree, the Abbey Road version is the only one I really listen to. It's amazing!

 

For every show on this years tour, they had been playing Sam's Town, but they decided to stop playing it right before my show. :bigcry:
