There’s some talk over on the Coldplay Discord that MOON MUSiC was debuted live by Chris acoustically on a secret KROQ radio show. People were asked to put their phones away. Someone suggested it had lyrics and everything.

If MOTS VOL 3 is the musical then it's 100% fake

I saw a twitter account claiming that Vol3 is an EP if that's the case then it might be true 

tbf an announcement could mean any number of things. It could be as much as them posting a message saying "MOTS3 is a thing and it will be out eventually, maybe next year or something" which we already know but they haven't officially said anything on it.

Yeah, but then they wouldn ´t publish March 2025 as año exact date, they would only say 2025…

I think it's probably bullshit. But I'm also hoping the rumours of MM and MOTS3 being made at the same time were true, and that we'll be getting MOTS3 sooner than anticipated. Otherwise we'll be waiting until 2030 for something that was meant to be wrapped up by 2025.

The later the better i don't want the final Coldplay album to be out soon 

So are we expecting there still to be an EP coming out related to moon music? And then the volume 3 as the musical album?

That would mean more unrealeased tracks being finished and published, so I think it´s unlikely. But let´s hope it becomes true!

I have a feeling based on nothing that the title track will end up being the fan favourite of this album not iAAM or ALM

I could believe the MOTS III rumor though I don't trust anything coming up on that site and haven't been thinking ahead of Moon Music. 

One reason to believe it, they said in interviews for a few years now they are in the process of working on a film and that the writer's strike got in the way (mid 2023) so it seems like it has been in development for a long time. There's also the fact that we know there's been a lot of songs not on Moon Music that have either been mentioned by the band (i.e. UFO II, Robots, Weirdo) and demos that leaked (Earthling, The Only One) that could be well suited for a musical. 

Some additional thoughts on the musical but spoilerwarning as I'll discuss leaks:

So we know they wanted to make a musical film for MX, which was a story about a dystopian world where a street kid meets a girl, they fall in love, there's some bad guys, they break up but there's hope for the future. Idk, I forgot the comics story. MOTS doesn't have a story, but there was some slight worldbuilding with the Spheres (a evil robot army on Ultra, there's a male protaginist on the trash planet Kaotica, an afterlife place full of peace and belonging). It's not flushed out and feels lowkey super random.

Now to get one thing out of the way, I doubt Coldpaly putting out a musical album is going to be an actual musical -- like I don't think there's going to be super specific lyrics and detailed storytelling. What I do think is we have leaks of songs that sound very-much like they could be used in a musical. The upbeat UFO II is about a kid feeling out of place. The Only One is a sweeping love song and feeling enthralled with someone. Robots is about someone wanting to turn into a missile and self destruct. Weirdo is a sweet song about embracing what makes you different. Earthling is a beautiful ballad about wondering whether people on other planets have the same human experience you do. 2 Aliens is a nice R&B track about struggling with hard news.

So if these songs were used on a musical, I could see the story being very MX-ish -- perhaps two aliens meet, fall in love but one of them (the male protaginist) is struggling with insecurity and being himself but ya know, love wins out. They have to overcome some sort of dystopian villian or war (Robots, a song that's a sequel to People of the Pride). Basically, I wonder if they'll just do MX Part II in the MOTS universe.

This has the same chord progression of One World (strings section) so I always thought that it might be the outro, but could also be Moon Music if they’ve structured the album similar to VLV with Life In Technicolor/The Escapist.

I have 46000 people in front of me but the queue has stopped moving and I think it's glitched.

I've been waiting for almost four hours just for this to happen.

UPDATE: It has begun moving again, but I've seen people on Reddit saying that it's sold out and there's no point in waiting. I'm staying in the queue just in case there are tickets left for the 27th but I expect I will have wasted my day. There really should be a better system than this.
