Coldplay are my favourite band and has been since I first heard Yellow on my 4th birthday party to me every album up until Ghost Stories are fantastic my favourite era of the band is the Viva era to Ghost Stories era. AHFOD was too overproduced, Everyday Life lacked cohesion and I love the songs on it just not as a album package, MOTS is my least favourite and that's because Jonny was so far back in the mix it pissed me off also those demos were better than the majority of what we got. So when FLIFIL dropped I was like I CAN HEAR JONNY already 1 + above Higher Power yes it's safe but a first single should be, then We Pray dropped and flawed me because for me its the first time a collab with other pop singers has worked and now iAAM has dropped and its like a callback to my favourite era and Jonnys guitar is reminiscent of DAHF and i have to say its one of my favourite songs the band has done in the last decade now I am excited for MM because to me this feels like how MOTS should have been.

The game is out today for those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition and the song is on there. So they might as well just officially release it now...

Because they was hoping it would be longer if I was to guess they were probably hoping that it was only half the song

Just iAAM, and that's because it was featured on the soundtrack of an EA game. Given the game was officially released today I wouldn't even call it a leak as such. 

The wait is slowly killing me. I would really love to listen to the album as a whole at this point. Glad we're only two weeks away.

I wonder if it'll leak. I know in 2024 leaks basically never happen, the last album to leak was Ghost Stories wasn't it? And that was only a few days in advance because Target were stocking copies early.

I remember EL getting leaked a week or two before its release 

And I think that was because people got their hands on the physical copies. Vaguely remember it being shipped early or something like that.

Yep. I really wish they'd move on from him. His production is equally glossy and muddled which doesn't work for a band. Hell, even songs on MOTS (like Humankind) could have been significantly better with a different producer.

From what I've heard, the production seems to be generally better this time around, and that's good. Here's hoping they return to the Dream Team for their future albums.

A quick question about pre-orders. I got a pre-order on MOON MUSiC from Coldplay’s website about two weeks ago. I used the cheaper shipping and I am wondering if my package will arrive on release day, the day after, or even later. I bought it of the US Store and live in the mid-west.

Everyday Life leaked in September/October in some circles and MOTS leaked about a week early iirc, atleast I got a copy pretty early.

The album is likely to leak, as I've seen some people who already have their CD's they ordered months ago

I feel that the band are happy with this record, probably happier with it more than MOTS

I definitely remember Ghost Stories leaking a week before but that was a really quick and concentrated album rollout so it didn't feel significant. AHFOD leaked around one week before and I remember listening to it in a department store and someone asked what I was listening to and I had to lie. It was during Fun and I was making a face because I didn't like it (and still don't, haha). 

EL also leaked maybe a few days before? I remember listening to it in my living room at like 7 a.m. and the sun was coming in during Sunrise and it was super magical. 

I don't remember with MOTS... but for Moon Music, whether it leaks or whether I wait until Friday, I want to find a good quiet spot outside with a view of the sky if possible.

No i don't,work has been very stressful i keep arguing with my boss every day it's horrible. What about you ?

Cinema event across the world playing the album in full on October 2nd (plus some extras, it seems it's 60 mins long) - so plenty will have heard the album in full before October 4th.

I heard the Good Feelings version of 2020 and that sounded really good

Better then the 2 singles we got so far.

Hope the album version isnt to overproduced.

Don't get your hopes up. IIRC I bought the premium shipping and it was delivered a day or two after release. Granted I am in the UK, but it's still a bit crap. I've considered pre-ordering it on iTunes as well just so that I can listen to a higher quality version on the day.

Meanwhile, Amazon delivered my copy of Gran Turismo 7 a day early, so people pre-ordering with them should be fine. I would have if the version I wanted was available there.

Ok, I was just thinking about whether I should wait for my cd to arrive to listen to the album. I guess I'll see if I get any shipping announcements on my email before release day. If I do I will wait, if I do not I will listen to it on streaming the moment it comes out.
