August 1, 200817 yr I might even come down towards deepest south west if need be (BTW, you have a large number of caravans heading down towards Devon & Cornwall at the moment from the 303, must be the holiday traffic)
August 1, 200817 yr ^ Yeah I know!! I work in the restaurant at a holiday park, and its completely full at the moment. Saturday is the worst day, that's changeover day at all the parks. So everyone is coming down on a Saturday. But back to the point, Keane have played three gigs in the south west to date, one at a tiny local venue, which I missed cos I wasn't really into them at the time, one at the Eden Project, and one in Plymouth. The latter two I attended. So on all their tours they've included little ol' us!

August 1, 200817 yr ^ they're really good live, certainly put on a good show. first time i saw them it was the last uk gig of hopes and fears, and they played hamburg song and nothing in my way. the second time was even better, both albums, huge sing-a-longs, just an amazing gig! And tom was playing guitar the second time. Although with this new album, i don't think a guitar is going to be quite so unusual :P I've seen them three times myself! Saw them first time in Chicago in this little tiny venue called the Metro (Coldplay played there themselves, would have LOVED to seen that) and it only holds like 1,500 people, so I got front row. That was about a day or two after UTIS came out here in the States. Then I saw them on their 2nd US leg in May 2007 in Philly, and was right up front again, and it was just magical. I seriously had no voice after that show...that one really pushed me to my limits. Then I went all the way to London to see them at the O2 gig! Well, we were planning on being in London at that time anyway, so it was just happy coincidence I managed to grab tickets to see my 2nd favorite band as well. That show was nuts. I was all the way up in the nosebleeds (miles away compared to the other 2 shows), but I didn't care. Now I have the DVD to relive it up close whenever need be, so it's all good. Hoping to see them a couple more times with this go-round. They're just breathtaking live.
August 1, 200817 yr ^ wow that sounds crazy! I'm on ebay right now actually looking to buy the Live DVD, the one from the O2. Is it worth buying then? And yes mark, we have pasties on the menu. And they're very popular. And I've even helped cook them on occasion

August 3, 200817 yr Does anyone have the 2003 release of Everybody's Changing? With Bedshaped and The Way You Want It as b-sides. I already have TWYWI, but I'm really interested in hearing the demos of EC and Bedshaped. So I'd appreciate it if someone could send me them, if they're out there.
August 3, 200817 yr 18 and a half hours to Spiralling. Can't believe I'll be getting up before 6 AM tomorrow to listen to a new Keane track. :laugh4: Only Coldplay and Keane get that kind of respect!
