What should I do?
If you do listen to new live songs, I think you need to make sure to seek out high-quality footage. Thanks to the Rock am Ring stream, everything that isn't "Princess of China" is fair game so far. But I still haven't listened to "Princess of China" for that very reason. A low-quality version WILL dilute the experience.

Friendly Fires
Did some research. One of the other songs was "Kiss of Life". Can't find video of the 5th one. I want to say it was "Live These Days Tonight" but I'm not sure. It was the song Ed dived into the crowd for, if that's any help. Here's the one song that actually made it onto national broadcast, BTW: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gi9By_YjSuU]YouTube - Friendly Fires Performs "Blue Cassette"[/ame]

The Foals Thread
I made sure to catch them at Coachella, having downloaded TLF shortly before. Great and energetic set, and an awesome amount of Europeans in the crowd for a festival that takes place in the southwestern U.S. :laugh3:

You guys are awesome. Awesome enough for me to actually step into the Lounge for once. :laugh3::D

The Foals Thread
Giving this thread a slight bump just to say my love for them lately has been immense.

U2
8 days. I'd feel smug about that if I didn't have Lenny Kravitz as an opener. EDIT: Okay maybe not...my dad just called me to tell me he lost my U2 tickets and can't find them. fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck

Florence + The Machine
Saw that Buddy Holly tribute a few days ago and it's lovely. She's super cute in the video (like...even more than usual). Greek Theater, home to Satan's parking lot. I've been researching places to park down the street. There aren't many. Ugh. Oh, that goes without saying. I'll share the (appropriate) pics with you guys. :) Also, Bonnaroo webcast tonight features Flo. I'll be at work. GAH.

Back To The Future Theme
Seriously, it says you're banned under your username and you can still post! WTF? Ban evasion can get your entire IP banned permanently from the site. Also, a lot of bands use live intros that have nothing to do with the record.

Friendly Fires
Three of them were "Blue Casette", "Hawaiian Air", and "Skeleton Boy". I was only a casual fan so I couldn't match a name to the other two. The first two songs were filmed for TV, the other three were bonuses for the audience in attendance (which was really cool, because it's usually just 1 bonus song for the audience). Barely touched Ed's shirt when he dived into the crowd (he turned around before I could really touch him). Also to my surprise, there were actually legitimate fans of the band in the audience who knew all the lyrics. I expected the crowd to just be random people like me who happened to get free Kimmel tickets. So that was awesome too.

Florence + The Machine
I hope so! Since she's done so much for the new album already, I would think the band would like to road-test a few of the tracks.

Friendly Fires
Okay, that was pretty cool. 5 songs, which was more than I expected for a comedy show concert. Ed's dancing was entertaining as hell. For something that was FREE, I'd say it was time well spent.

MONDAY. SEEING HER AGAIN. AHHHHHHHHH. :bomb:

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Chris debunked that rumor. He called it "a load of bollocks" on Twitter. The rumor was originally posted by The Sun, a notorious tabloid.

E3 2011
Didn't think any of the "Big 3" conferences were that impressive. Microsoft looked flat-out awful and makes me feel better about selling my 360. Sony was par-for-the-course. Same with Nintendo, although they also had the burden of being the most hyped one this year. In terms of software, there's really nothing that jumped out at me that we didn't already know about before the show. Mario on 3DS this year ensures that I'll have a 3DS before year's end, while I'll wait for Vita to pick up steam before I seriously look into that one. Like I said, I haven't had time for consoles in a while. That apparently isn't changing this year.

F5 Madness! Live Blog time (Venice, Thursday) [aka continuing voyages of the F5 abusers!] // MEGAPOL
Hey guys, gotta go now, be back in an hour if this thing's still going on. :) Also, nobody wants their ears and brain to die before Coldplay goes on stage. That's why they're not watching Beady Eye.

Jonny smiles at Chris. Guy is like "Hey whatever" at Chris. Will gives Chris the psychotic death stare of GET THAT GODDAMN CAMERA OUT OF MY FACE BEFORE I SHANK YOU. I'm not surprised at a single one of these.

Haha. That still would have been a more serious band name than "Beady Eye".

F5 Madness! Live Blog time (Venice, Thursday) [aka continuing voyages of the F5 abusers!] // MEGAPOL
I doubt Beady Eye's music is the thing being loud. Probably just Liam Gallagher's douchey ego exploding. Nothing new.

That's totally the face I always imagined Will always gives Chris.

Awesome, everyone! I haven't submitted anything yet. I always got excited when I'd get stuff answered on the Viva tour, but I think that's dimmed a bit. I'll think of something to ask soon, though.

Okay, I'm done being distracted now. He's finally answering questions? Anyway, congrats Emily! First Anchorman question of the LP5 era! :D

The National
September 11. It's all seated, which normally sounds lame but I'll take it gladly here since I'll be hot off a different concert the night before.
