Every song they make seems timeless --- the album parachutes may be 8 yrs old but it really can fit to the music of 2008... To prove this the last 3 albums of coldplay are still charting in US and the UK all close apart and sales are still adding up worldwide. In the next 10 yrs... where would coldplay be after its explosive success? Will they fade in with time just as Oasis has? Will all members still be intact just as U2 has? does anyone know what the video in the background lovers in japan is when they're playing live....i saw on youtube at the beginning it says Haiku...but searched all over google for it but nothing came up...so i thought id try my luck here...

i looked in the "Videography" section of coldplaying.com but didnt see any link for either of the new Viva La Vida music videos. but I saw a few screenshots on this site some members had. Anyone wanna upload some here? Or tell me where i can get some??? :embarassed:

Just letting you guys know that Chris isnt going to be showing up at Edge studios today because he's sick. Guy Berryman is going to replace him. It's not going to affect tonights show but I hope he can still put on a good performance.

it's cool how they are really sticking to that "home made feel" they have been talking so much about... ie. Violet Hill video, the viva la vida music videos, their clothes, hand painted instruments, even their concerts seem more homey and less wrought with spectacle... truth be told though i miss some aspects of the grandeur that was the X&Y Coldplay... the Speed of Sound and Fix You music videos had such a galactic scale it was very dazzling but at the same time well balanced with their "down to earth" personalities... and their concerts are certainly more intimate this tour but the set-list of songs seem, at least to me, to be too epic to be played with that intima…

then I'd like to see this on offer. :P
