I thought it was interesting that Coldplay posted the missing poster and information for John Regan on their Twitter account. It got me thinking if one of the band members maybe know him, maybe from college or something? He went missing in Camden (their London hangout) and is 30 (around their age), so I guess it could be possible... What do you think? Just seems odd that they are posting this particular missing case. It's so sad when people go missing, I hope he is found safe.

  6. Millions of bank customers seeking billions of pounds of overdraft charge refunds have been dealt a major blow by a Supreme Court ruling. The court has overturned earlier court rulings that allowed the Office of Fair Trading to investigate the fairness of charges for unauthorised overdrafts. The decision follows more than two years of test case litigation. At stake is an estimated £2.6bn of annual income for the banks, which had appealed against earlier rulings. Seven banks and one building society wanted the court to overturn two previous rulings that would let the OFT investigate their overdraft fees. In a three-day appeal in the House of Lords in June, the bank…

  7. Having friends over for dinner 'is more stressful than working' By Daniel Bates Last updated at 8:10 AM on 23rd November 2009 Comments (2) Add to My Stories The delicate balance of doing the cooking and entertaining the guests has long vexed even the most well-organised of hosts. But now, fuelled by the rise of unforgiving TV shows such as Come Dine With Me, in which any food faux pas is cruelly exposed by the guests, it seems that hosting a dinner party has become culinary nightmare. According to a survey, many of us now find that inviting friends round to share a meal is more stressful than the daily commute, seeing the bank manager or eve…

After much secrecy and a long development period, Hungry Jack's will today ramp up its battle with McDonald's by launching the Angry Angus burger. Available with either single or double patties, it features the highly-sought beef variety along with bacon, cheese, salad and a corn-dusted bun. It is also loaded with "angry onions" which are fried and spiced plus three condiments in mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard. But despite similarities in the Angus beef campaigns — and the fact that McDonald's launched its burgers about three months earlier — Hungry Jack's insists it is not imitating the global giant. "It's been in planning for quite some time, the last thing…

  17. Argentina kicked off their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 2-0 win over Chile in Buenos Aires. Juan Roman Riquelme was the hero for the home with two superb trademark free kicks in the first half. Riquelme, who has not played for Villarreal this season, showed no sign of rustiness as he inspired Argentina to all three points. The classy playmaker broke the deadlock on 27 minutes when he curled his free kick from the edge of the box into the top corner. Riquelme repeated the act right on the stroke of half-time to double Argentina's lead with another clinical free kick from 30 yards out. Any hopes Chile had of getting back into the game went up…

But a man's lack of effort on the domestic front could actually be a myth created by their wives, researchers have found. Wome…
