Has anybody here seen this? It's the first film George Lucas ever made, from 1971 I think. I'd never really heard much about it, but then I found the official website for the DVD release: http://www.thx1138movie.com/ That website is so weird, and I was just creeped out watching the trailer... I have to see it now. :stunned:

...Is probably the best movie i saw this year. If you didnt see it yet, you really, really should go to the movies right now and watch it. First of all, the story is so perfect. when it starts, you'll think it doesnt make sense at all, but in the last 20 minutes, they finally tell you whats going on, and whoa, its so good. And the movie is based on a stephen king book, and that guy is like, god, so thats another reason to watch it.

I just watched this movie...and this is just a way to pisses off your mother ´til kill her!...is so sad!... :( anyway...Kieran Culkin is so kute, and his lil bro Rory as well... :smug: Coldplay´s Don´t Panic...is part of the soundtrack which makes it better!... :D the moral of the movie is "say it"...right away!...in that moment on...if you need to say something just say it!...cause maybe is going to be late when you want to!...... if you have the opportunity to watch it!...do it!... ;)

If this isn't the best movie ever, then it certainly is the best war movie ever, there is no other war movie that has deep meaning like this, very good story and meaning behind the movie. Very well done. I've never seen an action scene done as well as the one when all the helicopters under control by Robert Duval are flying in to bomb the Vietnamese Village.

This movie is awesome, David Lynch is one of the best directors in film. His movies are always very disturbing and unsettling, and just about every suspense movie today takes ideas from David Lynch's films. This is well written, well directed, and Naomi Watts does an awesome acting job in it too. I give it five stars.
