I quit because I was sick of the competition. I was so sick of taking about 3 hours out of my day to train to beat a bunch of girls who were bigger and stronger than me and had actual athletic talent at a piddling race. I thought I had better things to do with my time (I do, but not enough discipline anymore to do them :/). But now I MISS SWIMMING SO MUCH. I miss the activity, not so much the competition. Mine are so screwed right now, for the past month+ I've had a fairly regular schedule of going to bed at 2 or 3 and getting up at 1 or 1:30... fine, except now I'm trying to get back to sleeping normal. Day before yesterday (or three days ago... that's another thing, I don't know if today counts as, like, today, or a continuation of yesterday at this point anymore) I was exhausted and went to bed at like 11 o'clock, then woke up at 4 following a bad dream, tried to go to sleep for about 45 minutes, then said "fuck it" and stayed up the rest of the day. Despite being utterly tired I couldn't fall asleep until 3:00 the next day, and so I slept until 1:30 today/yeste…

Since we were six, I was expecting the total cooking and preparation time was gonna take 90 minutes and it took me 4 hours! FOUR FUCKING HOURS of my precious time wasted, not to mention the extra time I invested in buying everything. Don't ever do one of her meals. She and her tv show suck big time, even though she's hot to be in her early 40's.
