I'm considering quitting meat. Er, yeah. For both health and moral reasons. Arguments for or against by any chance? Am NOT quitting milk, NOR eggs. NO NO NO. I don't eat much fish anyway, partially on the grounds that we are hunting fish to extinction, so I suppose I am quitting fish too (not that fish fall ouside the meat category...) My worries are that I will have no discipline but to be honest meat doesn't even taste that good so hopefully this will be a no-brainer. But yes, like I was saying, arguments for or against, coz I'm curious to see what you all think of it.

I hate it when fucking people tell you they're gonna talk to you right when they get home. 30 minute drive. But then they don't fucking call you. I logged onto Facebook and on the friend request thing, one of my friends popped up. At first I thought it was kind of cool, thinking she'd gotten a Facebook...but it ended up being a mock page about her and everyone from my school just bashes her there. Or are you just a person who is either satisfied the way it is or just too lazy to start working on something? I can't believe I've always been too lazy or probably too scared to start working on something ...I've done and reached a bunch of great things recently and it feels so good. Like playing the piano...it's been my dream for more than 3 or 4 years now...and finally I made it...I bought a piano and I really want to try to find a teacher and just take that time to do it. this is just a really slight example, but I guess these are the things that make you happy or at least happier than you were before. So?

So... our housing information has been released for next September. And UBC has this feature where you can release your name and email to your future roommates, which I did. So far only one of my 3 future roommates has revealed the information. So I facebooked her name and yeah. Should I like add her and talk to her or not or wait it out a little bit? What if shes a total bitch, right?

POPPY SEEDS. Yeah, those silly things. So I grab the least disgusting bagel this morning, and it's got poppy seeds all over the top. What are these things good for, other than to get stuck in your teeth, make you think there's bugs on your desk, make you test positive for opiates on a random drug test, etc.? I have a friend from Norway (Drobak city). First time I wrote to him was a few years ago but I lost his contacts and I haven't talk to him since June. I told him I'm planing to visit Norway (Drobak) on August and he asked if we could arrange a meeting. I said 'yes' without too much thinking. But the thing is that I don't really want to see him, because I know very little of him and I think it's a bit dangerous to meet foreigners in foreign countries :rolleyes: So, what should I do? Tell him that I don't like him anymore? Or let things develop naturally? :confused:
