hey so the toronto area had a big snowfall the last few days. it took my dad nearly 3 hours to shovel the driveway so he could get to work. here's some pictures i took around the area since it was really nice out. just random scenery things. and snow piles. now a lot of it's really slushy, like the roads. i apologize for any picture sizing issues

Just read it and go on your way, it'll make me feel better if I write it down. This morning, I woke up late, half a hour late. Breakfast was cut short and consequently, I forgot my French homework. French was first thing and my teacher gave me a homework defect (a note goes on your record that you weren't 'organized') and now mums upset with me. Then at morning break, my friend just ran off when I tried to talk to her. Then we had Math, which was ok. But then we had science and this retarted freak boy kept bugging the shits out of me. Lunch was ok, except for the fact that the same girl who ran away from me at break totally disappeared. Then history, which was ok. And …

Okay people, I need your help! I need some recipes of traditional food from all over the world plus some traditional songs that can be found on eMule. I have enough food from Europe (but not songs!), so now I need mostly recipes from Africa, Asia, Australia and Americas. Food should be simple, easy and quick to prepare, becasue we have a small kitchen and it's for an event i'm organising. Pretty please. Also, I'd like to ask Julia and Grace (or any other German coldplayer) what do I need for Spatzle. I got this recipe in Italian, but I don't understand everything. So yes. Help me please!

I actually have a Saturday off work! I'm beyond happy, because I hate the place. However, I'll doubtless spend the weekend doing research for uni, plus I'm feeling really very blue today. So on this thread you must all cheer me up. :D In the process, you all might raise a smile too.

  15. Not sure if this has been posted on here before but.... A plane is standing on runway that can move (some sort of conveyor belt.) The plane moves in one direction, while the conveyor moves in the opposite direction. This conveyor has a control system that instantly tracks the plane speed and tunes the speed of the conveyor to be exactly the same (but in opposite direction). The question is: Will the plane take off or not? ?

I'm hosting this italian girl for the next 3 days (an exhange program of my school. Students from italy come here and we go there later this year). And i have a problem. Well, many of them to be honest. First of all : - She doesn't really speak or understand english well - She hasn't eaten a single thing during the last 24 hours she's been here.. I think she ate something at school today but she said that she didn't like the food that much  - Because of her english i never feel like talking to her..so even right now we're alone in the house and i'm in my room and she's downstairs using the laptop boohoo. I feel such a bad person :disappointed: So any…

Hey all! I have a new job (That's why I've been so inactive for the last year), I got hired by a city in Sweden to work with youth and to increase the amount of influence the youth have in the city. But I also got hired to arrange and to be the project manager of a new music festival in the city. It's the first time ever the city has this festival which is totally for the youth of the city. But I have a big problem, my brain is at a standstill. And the problem is: The name for the festival. So I need you're help. If you ever got the chance to have your own festival: What would you call it? (Remember that the name has work with the promotion-part and it has to so…

  21. OK, here's my situation. In September, the ultimate in LOSER neighbours moved in. Some of you have already heard this, so, sorry if it's a repeat. They deal drugs, thereby having ppl at their door waking me up day and night. They fight non-stop at top volume. He calls her things I won't even post here because we have minors on the forum, but slut and whore are the nicest things he calls her. Now that I've called the police for about the fifth time, he's decided to 'punish' me for it by stomping on the floor (my ceiling) all night and calling me the same things he calls his wife... IT'S UNBEARABLE!!!!!! I can't afford to move, nor should I have to, since he's b…

Hey there you people, you know Valentine is coming and I'd love to hear (read actually) some advises, tips, experiences for a gift for my girlfriend, she's my first girlfriend and it's our first valentine and bsides I'm not good for gifts so as I say: if you have a doubt ask in coldplaying. :D it's just that you always find an answer here, so any sugestion will be well recieved, just try not to say simply flowers, chocolates and teddybears (I've already used the 2 first but Id like to give her something a lil more original or at least with a touch of something more special if you know any trick or something). thanks
