i'm in first year at uni. when i went to school i used to know pretty much everyone and now that i'm at uni it feels like going into a room of strangers. it's the one thing i hate about uni. some people on my course seem to be really nice but we're in different groups in every module which makes it very hard to get to know each other. i wouldn't even know the names of most people i've spoken to quite a few times. i've got my friends here so i don't rely on making friends at uni, still i'd like to get to know the people on my course better. i've just discussed this with someone, who said something similar and i'm wondering how other students feel about it. i th…

Last year Alias Day was a full two days, whereas this year it has been shortened to a mere 24 hours! I propose that we extend Alias Day by another 24 hour for maximum enjoyment. My reasons: 1. 24h is far too short to figure out whos-who. 2. People on the West Coast of the US (such as myself) totally missed out on all the fun during the night. 3. .....because I need more time to figure out if my suspicions about Tinky Winky are correct.

Fucking arseholes! I dont mean the animals i mean people. They are everywhere, even on this board, i love this place and i feel comfy and happy here but theres fucking sheep who just try to fit in but really really piss me right off.. im not gonna say who they are cos its not fair i just have to vent my anger and i should be able to on my favourite board. What's your opinion of them? Do you think that theyre mean, money-grabbers or innocent people carrying out an important job? Have you had any nasty experiences with them? Would you want to do their job? Are they called anything different in a different country, I heard they call them something quite fancy in America? I might be wrong though. Bit random I know but hey! Just asking cause I feel like I need to get into a proper ritual before sleep, something that helps me sleep more peaceful. I find myself lying in bed awake tossing and turning for up to 3 hours some nights kind of daydreaming before I end up falling asleep, and I'd like to know if there's anything that could help.
